Wesley had a great game. He is very unselfish with the ball. I think he had 10 rebounds and 6 assists. I think he had double digits in points as well.

Bowling Green had quite possibly the worst student section I have seen in my last 4 years of coming to the Sweet 16. Their student section was awful. For a school of 1,000 kids it looked like 125 came. They had so many empty rows in their student section. As a BG graduate I was embarrassed and ashamed. The basketball team deserved better. All the talk of no Boone County kids at their regional final. Today BG was the Sweet 16 equivalent. A disappointing day as a Purple. Period.

I'm surprised to hear that. I had seen on Twitter that they expected 500 students to come. I think the Purples and Dragons as well suffered a season long hangover effect coming down from the teams they had last year. The student sections and crowds were nowhere near what they were last year. BG has had a very active and large student section for the last several years, so it's surprising to see what happened this year.

There were over 500 students who bought tickets. The problem was they were scattered in 4 or 5 sections. They were told when they bought their "student" ticket at school (regardless of section) they would all be sitting in the student section, only to find out when they got there that was not the case. Some were up above in section 239, some were in the section to the right middle & lower level of BG's fans. So it appeared to be a small student section. What irritated me was the fact there were 4-5 empty rows in top of student section & don't know why the Rupp officials wouldn't let them fill that up first (with their student ticket) before dismissing them to another section. But it was clearly announced over & over at Rupp you MUST sit in your seat listed on your ticket. Needless to say the students were very disappointed they couldn't all sit together.

He is absolutely the key player for Oldham County. What doesn't show up in the stats is how big a factor he is on defense. When he wasn't on the floor, BG was getting the ball inside and scoring. When Wesley was in, BG was getting nothing inside.

He has been playing at a high level since 6th grade when he played AAU ball. I can see him playing at a Georgetown, KY type school.

Did Oldham Co coach use to be at Henry Co? I played in a holiday tournament there and I believe he was the coach but not for sure! Regardless, I love the way this man coaches! A lot of passion and you can tell he cares for his kids a lot!
