Don't tell the folks at Lyon County that lol. I think that many folks around KY feel the same way about their respective coach. Coach Ruthshatz did a great job......but the Colonels have been a well respected program for a long time way before he arrived. They have had many fine coaches.
-
I would assume so......but the times they are a changin lol.
-
I guess that could happen. Old guy....that didn't happen many moons ago lol.

You need to research Kentucky Basketball before making this statement.
-
Why? He left.....I don't believe he was terminated from the article.

You guys need to realize that Tim is in the Kentucky Teachers Retirement System. The pension is substantial. Boone County pays more than the diocese and his extra duty pay is probably very good compared to CCH. His extra duty pay also figures into his retirement. This is a HS basketball job.....not major college. He has been at Cooper since it opened I believe so I would imagine financially he might take a hit.

I believe he was also head coach at Campbell County before Aric Russell. -
Transfer portal and NIL’s effects on mid-majors

All it does is allow for NIL money. Perhaps they can go somewhere and showcase their talent, but bottom line it's about $$$$s. -
At 34 years in KTRS you earn about as much as you do working, potentially a little more. No retirement, state tax, etc. Many people just have had enough fun by then lol. Corbin lost a few really good players and I would imagine at this point he knows in his heart it's time. Personally I really respect that decision. Trust me, you know.

David Henley is a great guy. First met him when he played in the All A Classic for Carlisle County when the tournament was held in NKY. They beat Bellevue in the finals and lost in OT( maybe two) to Henry Clay in the finals of the State Tournament. Played for the legendary Craynor Slone. He did a fantastic job at Holmes, before moving to North Oldham and then Eastern. Always enjoyed bumping into Dave and catching up. Enjoy your retirement sir!

Be interesting to hear your take on their "philosophical differences". I had a superintendent many years ago tell me that quite often the devil you know is a lot better than the one you don't know. Cooper is arguably one of the three or four best jobs in NKY. I honestly don't think that's the same case at Dixie. Apparently he wasn't a good fit for Conner either. -
Cincinnati Women land 2025 5 Star Prospect Dee Alexander

That's great! One year I looked at a home box score and their attendance was 339. NKU led the Horizon in men's and women's a couple seasons ago at around 3900 and 1200. -

Hopefully they will begin to generate some fan interest. Their crowds are usually rather sparse. I'm being nice.
