What a great addition to the Tiger team. Schweitzer, Wrobleski and Harris all from Highlands. These birds have developed into real "Tigers". -
Tyler Schweitzer joining Harris & Wrobleski at Georgetown

Congrats to Tyler, Thomas and Zack!! Great addition to Georgetown "Tigers". Tyler and Zack have played together since they were about 5, and Thomas was there for most of those years. These "kids" have turned into fine men; can't wait to watch them for the next 4 years. Glad to see Kathman CCHS and Sudkamp, NCCH joining them. Georgetown just struck it rich!! Go Tigers !! -
What if Mac Franzen and Jack Sutkamp were Birds?
Sportnuts replied to Qryche11's topic in KY Football (High School)
I have seen a Sutkamp and Wrobleski on the same team before. Check NCCH back around 1955-56 you will find Dr. Jerry Sutkamp and Frank Wrobleski (grandfather to Thomas Wrobleski) on the same. -
Birdsfan, Sorry you were inconvenienced for one night; the persons you were talking about drove over 300 miles to come to this game. First time seeing a nephew play football. This person has a medical issue that prevents him from walking a long distance to the stands or standing for long periods. I don't think you could have thrown that 400 lb man over the rail. Thanks for being so considerate. All is well that ends well.

Is that true that not one Highlands O-line player was on the top 100 in N KY? Can't hardly believe that. I guess no one was holding the defence out on Saturday when they completed all those passes. And I guess no one was making the holes for the runs that scored 47 unanswered points. 6 straight titles and all that without the best o-line. Give me a break. -
Schweitzer, Highlands is also a 3 year starter on the o-line. Lets not count him out.

Alright, getting back to class 2014... I really think we are missing the boat if we don't throw Harris, Schweitzer, Hope and Wrobleski from Highlands in the mix. How about some love for the Bluebirds?

I completely agree with McCoy being one of the best, I have watched him play since pee wee ball. I don't agree with the offence being sick. How do you think he has so much time to throw for that much yardage and who do you think is opening the holes for him to follow? Shouts out for the O-Line you did one heck of a job this year. -
I think someone forgot this thread was about the Elder/Highlands game on Friday. Oh, and by the way how about a shout for the Highlands O-line? They have done a great job this season.

Did we ever get the names of the 3 new lineman. Trying to keep up for this season, Can't wait we love our bluebird football!!
