I see 10 as the right number of scholarship players. If you get a couple loyal in state recruits like Perry and Noah who you expect to be on your roster for at least 2 or 3 years, you could go to 12. Add in 2-3 walk ons for practice purposes. For Cal though, who doesn't really care about having the in state players, 10 is probably the right number.

The one that I see as impactful is missing ten days of practice time to put in your system.

The mid majors are all just minor league proving grounds now.

You are impressive in the info you can get! Those numbers are a load in high school. I am not sure how they translate to a position at the next level. Probably a TMC or Georgetown opportunity?

Yes, correct, you probably read that in my post here on BGP. There were only 3 freshmen starting in the elite 8 with 2 of them on Duke. And I would argue Duke wouldn't have been in the elite 8 if Houston's Jamal Shead didn't get injured.

Does Hatchell want the principal job? Maybe he would prefer assistant Principal and football head coach?

It is strange, but I am ok with it. Ideally going forward it would be nice to have maybe 2 top 30 freshmen. I would not have said that 4 or 5 years ago. Now, if a team plays starts more than 2 freshmen, I don't think they win a title in this NIL/portal era.

I will say the same thing about Coach Morris that I said about Coach Rash when he resigned from Beechwood ..... Legend.

How do those approved district moves align with the AI models we saw on BGP?

How big is he? How fast is he? That determines who will recruit him.

I wasn't questioning why the coach would retire now. I was questioning people who believe him retiring in May caused some great problem for Corbin.
