  1. I think you are correct as it stands right now, if Russell County were able to get a win against LaRue that may be enough to change things up, depending on how other teams fair week 10.
  2. Congrats to Logan, I got to see them on film for the first time last week. The qb has a cannon for an arm.
  3. @DevilMayCare Yes. Sawyers is my homer pick, just because he does everything for us. He even served cake last week at the team meal.
  4. if I had an actual vote Hudson would be in my top three but I know he won’t finish there. It’s also the only reason I didn’t include Jacob Lacey in my top 5.
  5. A spectator sees a handoff and it’s either up the middle or outside. A qb runs the ball and it’s just a direct snap and find a hole. There are a variety of different blocking schemes for run plays that may look similar because people tend to just watch the ball and not the line, however they are not similar at all. It’s all about angles in the run game and if you miss an assignment it looks like a terrible play call. We will watch film and get better but I promise we didn’t come into the game and only run 4 plays. Hats off to Pulaski they limited our possessions in the second half and we didn’t capitalize when we did have the ball.
  6. 1. Casey McGinness 2. Wandale Robinson 3. Demarco Fishback 4. Drew Sawyers 5. Bryan Hudson
  7. Drew Sawyers for Southwestern - 355 yards passing 2 TD's, 377 rushing 3 TD's, 2 95+ yard kick returns for TD's, 60+ yard punt return for a TD. Defensively he plays safety and has 6 solo tackles, a fumble recovery, and an Interception. Stats may not be high on defense but he gets everyone where they are supposed to line up and calls the other teams plays out. He is the personal protector on punt, the holder on field goals and plays on the kickoff team. Two other guys I've seen play this year that are studs on both sides of the ball are Raymond Jackson and Langston Jackson for Henry Clay. A few othergood impacts on both sides of the ball that I've seen are Blake Muntz and Ethan Hahn for Madison Central.
  8. There was a slight mis-calculation from one of his first years at meade county. Tonight was win number 298.
  9. Pc has put this one away 40-21 now another td pass by hendrix to sloan.
  10. Pc defense stepped up strong and kept hc out of the endzone on 1st and goal
