LCA beat Mercer County 70-34 in the quarterfinals. Trevon Faulkner played in that game. In the semifinal game, LCA beat Southwestern 70-66. Carter Hendrickson had 34 points and Kyle Rode added 23. Both were clutch in the 4th quarter after LCA was down 59-53. Hendrickson's four-point play completely changed the momentum.

Earlier today, my friend whose son plays for Boyle told me the Boyle-Lafayette game would start at 9:00.

In tourney bracket play tonight, Mercer Co. edged Buckhorn 58-55. Mercer's Trevon Faulkner was in Knoxville working out for the Vols. Mercer's reward? A date with Scott Co. at 10:40 tomorrow morning.

I suspect it may have a lot to do with teams not wanting to pay lodging costs over multiple nights.

Christian Co. defeated Henry Clay a while ago, 67-54.

Scott County beat Dunbar 73-65 this afternoon. Christian Co. is a team to watch, also.

I was there. SK had the ball with 36 seconds left in OT, down 56-54. SK milked the clock and all it got out of it was a desperation shot from 22 feet out that missed badly with 3 seconds left.
