I didn't say he wasn't getting good equipment. I just inferred that he may not be benefitting from the available resources to the degree the other teams are, but that's only my opinoin, and we all know about opinions! :walk:

He's just not getting the cars or the engines that the rest of the Hendrick drivers are getting. He's had Eury since he's been driving, for the most part, and he won his fair share before moving to Hendrick. He just doesn't need to win as much as the others since he won't lose his popularity, so there's no reason to devote as much resources to his team. He's not my favorite, but I still like him, both as a driver and as a person, and he is good for the sport. He'll get his wins at the most opportune times, whether it's when it looks like his popularity begins to suffer, or a loss of fans, etc., so you can never count him out, nor count him as anywhere but among the best of the drivers. If he thought Eury was the problem, I believe he would have already done something about it.

  5. I believe you may have the top score, halfback, and glad to see somebody still has faith in Mark Martin! :thumb: It was a very popular win for him, and I'm glad to see him pull it off, especially with Smoke breathing down his neck. But clipper had another good one, and who we're all still chasing. Unfortunately, I continue losing ground, and more than a race behind with the scores I keep posting.
  6. You were in with time to spare according to The Scribe's rules post of "6 pm (ET), 5 pm (CT) on Saturday race days", same as last year. :thumb: Good job! :jump:

  11. I know the feeling, as do a number of others who've been late, or even missed posting their picks altogether, whether unable to access the internet due to power outage, etc., working away from home or later than expected, or just failed to remember in time. It's usually difficult for me to remember until the weekend of a race, and caused me to miss races in the past, but don't forget that you can post your picks at any time(read The Scribe's rules for posting - you can even start the thread for a race if you have doubts whether you'll be able to get your picks posted by the deadline, or before the thread has been started), and not necessarily need to wait until race day to post. But with a lucky week, or subsequent solid consistent weeks, a missed race can be made up. So don't fret over missing one since it's so early in the 1st half, and especially since attempting to make up points for a race can be even more challenging than if you hadn't missed posting for a race. It's still more fun than dropping out. :ylsuper:
