I agree. I would love to see more high school games on T. V. Elliott Co/Mason Co game or the Bryan Station/Mason Co. Raceland/Russell would be another good one to see on T. V. Scott Co/Lex Cath. We could go on and on.

Ukari led the Lady Cards to the 1995 State Title, won an NCAA Championship at Purdue, and won a WNBA title. Saw her play against the then eventual state champions Scott Co. Cardinals and more than held her own against Matt, Bud, and the boys. She can still flat out play.

Does anyone know the schedule of the tryouts?

Is that not the philosphy behind splitting Kentucky High School Basketball into classes? The little schools can't compete with the large schools? What makes anybody think that the smaller public school could ever compete with the smaller private schools.

If you class basketball, I think you would run the risk of the private schools dominating all the classes, but the largest. Schools like Lex. Catholic, Cov. Catholic, UHA, Bishop Brossart, Rose Hill, Owensboro Catholic, etc. would dominate there classes.

This will be my 24th year watching the Sweet 16. We will be in Section 33. We won't miss a game, we love it.

With Warren Central's experience in the Sweet 16, I think they will be a dangerous team.

Thanks Hoops Yoda. I have been a reader of the forum for quite awhile and finally decided to join in on the fun. If Portwood, Lee, and/or Hundley can come up big I think the Cards can win. The Cards will have to take care of the ball and hit the boards hard, especially on the offensive end. In big games like this, easy buckets make the difference.

Tates Creek does seem to be on a mission. They are very athletic and long. Scott Co is will have to keep Tates Creek off the boards and get the score in the 70's. If Tates Creek can slow the game down, they will be headed to Rupp.
