I keep saying because everyone keeps saying I'm whining because my school lost. That's not what I'm trying to say at all. If anyone on here that watched the game can honestly say there was a good officiating crew working this game, then I'll shut up.

Ok, then call the fouls. I'm not saying Rowan got screwed, I'm saying that the refs were terrible.

GoRadio - give us an unbiased opinion of the officiating tonight.

As we have all stated for the last 40 posts.

For the third time, noone has said that the refs cost Rowan the game. The refs are no excuse for cold shooting. But the bottom line is that there is no excuse for these refs to ever ref another high school game.

The better team won tonight and it was definately consistent - consistently bad. The number of missed calls in this game - with 3 officials - is just unacceptable in organized basketball.

Rowan was undersized and just went cold at a crucial time in the game. The refs allowed the paint to turn into a wrestling match, which didn't help the Vikings at all.

Where you at the game?

That's the story of this game. The game was played by the refs, not the players.

Did I not clearly state that the refs in no way impacted the final outcome?

FYI, I do think the winner of this game will go on to win the region and I still think that. I was hoping Rowan would play better, but they fell apart in the 3rd quarter. They only scored 2 points in the 3rd quarter and shot 20% from the field for the game. Rowan was very competitive and they didn't give up until the final horn sounded. This in no way caused the outcome but they scraped the bottom of the referee barrell in this one. There is no way that any fan who attended this game on either side can say that this referee crew had a clue. One of the most pathetic displays of "officiating" that has ever been. I am utterly suprised that they were able to keep the game from erupting into an injury or other ugly display. Absolutely pathetic. These three should never officiate another game at the high school level.

21 pts and 14 elbows and 10 over the backs that weren't called. I'm checking to see if she can get credit for a triple-double. :sssh:

And defense usually wins championships. I'll take Rowan's defense against anyone in the region.

I guess we'll see. I do know one thing, a 20-point road loss without one of your starters and your head coach is a little different than a neutral court with a healthy roster and the experience of being there before.
