you cant really go by this tournment to see who has the best freshmen class..because like you said alot of the "Best" Freshmen start Varsity, and dont play Freshmen...

what about Green? what grade is she in? Is Clays only seniors Paige Jackson #23 and Roberts #40? Stephanie Jackson is a junior, and Jordan Phillips is a freshmen and Belle Jackson is a 8th grader is that right?

ClayCoFan I totally agree. I could not be more proud of the Lady TIgers. I think they made every Clay fan their proud. On the officiating subject, it was bad called especially the 2nd half. All I know is I would love to see a 2nd matchup in BG! Keep on playing your hearts out Lady Tigers and proving you are one of the best teams in the State!

You dont think the game was called bad? I thought it was really horrible. For example when Stephanie Jackson got pounded shooting a 3, they were no doubt that they was a foul. Yes I do think LC turned it up and did force CC to foul some, but if your going to call the fouls on one end, call them on the other end also. LC pounded Clay every time they came down the court. On a neutral court Clay would have won by 10. Swamp thing, who are seniors on LC's team?

The lady Tigers came out ready to play tonight, and that they did. Lady Tigers lead the game all night usually by 6 or 8 points but was ahead as many as 10 at one point. S. Jackson played extremely well. Roberts also did good along with P Jackson, and Jordan Phillips. In the last part of the 3rd quarter and the 4th quarter the refs just got out of control, taking LexCath way into the bonus with probally 16 second half team fouls on Clay with only 6 on LC. With foul shot after foul shot, the lady Knights took the lead. I thought the lady Tigers played great tonight, I have no doubt they can play with any team in the state. Way to go girls, you all were the true winners last night!

Yes the 11th region is a much stronger region than the 13th..but I think the Tigers will give it all they have...

The point in having the District tournment is to get the BEST teams to go on and play in the region..when you do the drawl, sometimes you dont get the best teams to the region.. Im all for the good of the kids..but we play basketball games to see who is better not to make everybody feel good inside...

is region at Corbin? How is their gym, I cant quiet remember is it as large as Clay Countys

Nice win for the Tigers at home. The tigers had 11 players to score. They were lead by Justin Hobbs with 18 and Moe Cambell with 18. Nice win Tigers!

yeah his name was shawn pennington... he was a great athelete all around.. I think he coached at the middle school level for awhile but i dont know where he is now

yeah Coach Parsons is a heck of a coach, but I dont think this will be the year that the hounds go out west..
