devil58, I believe you are a good man, I just hate to see you sucked into the slime that is awaiting you. I only caution you to be careful where you are at in this journey. I have seen you ref and you were not biased towards any team, therefore I commend you but for the most part if you would forget the facade that is around you and search your feeling you of all people know the history of all of this and you know what I say is the truth. Search your feelings and your heart before you respond. You are good dude, it is not an attack on you but once again, I'll take my stand on what I know is the truth.

Sounds like to me that you have been an official before, is this correct? Not on the high school level of course but in Jr. High and in other leagues. Is my uneducated theory correct?

You missed my point, I'm talking about the conflict of interest that goes on in the region. I have had enough of trying to explain myself about my feelings about the RH situation. I tried earlier to post my comments but it was erased and probably deserved to be, it implied many things that were credible but I have no real paper trail to prove it, so having said that, lets move on to something else

I guess it was never of conflict of interest when Mr. Moore (Principal of Rowan Co. High) at the time was Reffing in the Regional Tournament. To answer your previous question the answer is YES. Ashland area schools and community does not like what RH has become and that is competetive!

Can you name to me the number of times that Rowan County Girls or Boys won the Regional Tournament prior to Morehead State Hosting it.

I too, watched these classic games, and I often wondered what would have happened if Coach Roger Zornes of Boyd County would have picked one of the hundreds of Twinkies that was thrown at him during the announcements of players and coaches and began eating one, that would have been great!!!

I have stated this before on other threads and I will state it again. RH is targeted, say what you want, think what you want. When did this all start, lets say about 5 years ago. This area does want RH to succeed in anything. They had enjoyed beating up on RH for years and running the score up to embarrass RH's kids, yes run the score up, you dont beat a team by 75 points playing your scrubs, and now little RH has a PROGRAM, oohhhh no, this cant be, who will all the other teams play now for a sure win? I wish that I could post some enlighting truths and FACTS about major conflicts of interest that goes on concerning other schools and who they are afflilated with in the cycle of high school sports. My advice to RH is to realize it, get over it and keep finding a way to win like you did last night. Oh yeah, RH is going have a Football team in the future maybe they can find a way to mess those kids over as well. It is a bunch of crap, not all of the refs but most are horrible, how do they get certified? I need some extra cash...ha ha. All joking aside all I wish would happen is for refs to call the game consistently and do not anticipate a call, call it when it happens. RH games are worse but this kind of officiating goes on when other teams beside RH are playing.

Maybe I am reading more into this post but if you took your kids to school every morning to RH like I do, then you would still see a van dropping off a school load of kids. If someone needs a ride it is provided.

I have alot of respect for Boyd's program. Atleast they will play RH. When it comes to tournament time I will cheer for them too.

I do not have a schedule of anything in this house. I am told what to do, when to do it, and how long to do it...I have grown to like being a submissive person, needless to say, I find out about sporting events just hours prior to tip off...I know what you are thinking, why not use the internet and look up the schedule? I have trouble finding the splee chkec key much less the khsaa website, and what this google place that I have been hearing about. Up until last year, I was still playing around on a Texas Instrument!
