I'm sorry...was this meant for this thread??I don't see the relevance. Games have to be canceled for various reasons. Just as an example Huntington High boys had to cancel with Ashland because they wanted to play someone else, there are other instances at other schools where this has happened also so I don't know why that is being singled out????Ashlanders please don't be mad I used that as an example. Anyway, since the thread is about this years RH GIRLS team and their future...imo they have a good group of girls that can play with anyone. Like already mentioned they will struggle for a couple of years, maybe 3, but will be back in the running with their upcoming talent.

Training your children is more than punishing it has more to do with developing a taste in their mouths for what is right. Physical punishment teaches children fear, and respect, we are never to be our children's best friend but we are called to be their parents. You can demonstrate unconditional love and acceptance while also being a parent who spanks their child. Does a child (3 or less) understand not to put their finger in a light socket or an electrical outlet, no they dont understand but they do understand pain. Our problem in this society is NO Responsibilty and NO Accountability. You missed my point, I'm talking about the conflict of interest that goes on in the region. I have had enough of trying to explain myself about my feelings about the RH situation. I tried earlier to post my comments but it was erased and probably deserved to be, it implied many things that were credible but I have no real paper trail to prove it, so having said that, lets move on to something else

I guess it was never of conflict of interest when Mr. Moore (Principal of Rowan Co. High) at the time was Reffing in the Regional Tournament. To answer your previous question the answer is YES. Ashland area schools and community does not like what RH has become and that is competetive!

Can you name to me the number of times that Rowan County Girls or Boys won the Regional Tournament prior to Morehead State Hosting it.

I too, watched these classic games, and I often wondered what would have happened if Coach Roger Zornes of Boyd County would have picked one of the hundreds of Twinkies that was thrown at him during the announcements of players and coaches and began eating one, that would have been great!!!
