corbins field is nice. whitley has a really nice field too

How is the 50th shaping out this year? South made it to state last year. Did they lose much? I know Whitley lost a lot. Corbin? Williamsburg? All 4 teams were in the top 5 in the region on the khsaa.org site for last season. All 4 teams also pulled big upsets against region teams. Who will be on top this year?

If the players that Williamsburg has in the system now gain maturity and get focused, Williamsburg can get the program back on its feet and start competing with the better teams in the area. With games like Corbin, and South the Williamsburg players and coaches can gain valuable experience and knowledge, and use these games to make them a better and more experienced team.

I am not sure what the overall record is, Williamsburg got the best of Whitley from the time period of the mid 90's up until the early 2000's. Williamsburg's last district Title was in 98, I am not sure about Whitley. Whitley had some great teams in the early 90's. Hopefully it will be a great game, I think it will be a battle of two young teams. The winner will be determined by who makes the least amount of mistakes and which of the experienced players steps up in crunch time.
