We're just funnin'! What a long thread it would be! I would be willing to bet that if you would ask Coach Rash he would let you make a copy of their game tape(CD or VCR) Send a blank to school and they can do it there.

Old middle aged friend, I wouldn't call it sexist, just fact! They could be on the field stopping the game w/the orange arm band for timeouts. That would give them a sense of control and should be good enough. Too many time have I witnessed women refs in the other sports and they always seem to have to have the upper hand, "I'm in control attitude even if I am a women." Its great that they want to ref but come on, NOT FOOTBALL!:sssh: Don't sing it bring it!!!

It would have to be the NCC/Ft Campbell game, weren't all the other winners suppose to win?

Mistake, since when do people from Louisville forget about NKY football, especially when HHS is being talked about. HHS has to be one of the top 5 teams in the state if not #1. This argument could go on until next season but no one will never know who is actually the best because they won't play this yr to find out.

Questionable calls all caught on tape. Amelung did intercept the pass on their sideline, feet in good catch. He did not interfere w/the WR but he got pushed away by the WR. The interference call on Teipel in the end zone, not! The WR tripped on the back of Teipel's foot and fell. Amelung's fumble on the kickoff, either way, could have been down and maybe not. These were all crucial calls and 2 of them made by the same ref and everyone can guess which one it was! Does title IX come into play now w/football refs?

I was being very scarcastic w/my comments. I get tired of hearing about Cinti teams as most NKY faithful do. Maybe you should move back to the other little class A city you originated from. Doesn't sound like you fit in very well in Ft Mitchell.

What would you call your first comment, saying Moe would be nuts to hire Rash? Moeller has not been the old Moe of the past for several yrs. Yes, it would be a very highly intense job w/numerous responsibilities, none of which Coach Rash couldn't handle. Believe this, there is a ton of pressure on the Beechwood Head Coach every yr. They are expected to get to Louis yr in and yr out. If they don't it is not a good season even w/a record of 13-1. Yes, BHS is one of those little Class A schools but that doesn't mean there isn't any pressure or added responsibilities for the head man. Obviously, you have never been there or around to realize this. Opinions are great, where would we be as humans w/out them?

Somewhat surprised that NKY did not win all three championships but I do think most voters that picked 2/3 were guessing that Beechwood would be the lone loser? Congrats to all three teams, great seasons!

You must be from OH! Opinions, opinions and more opinions. They are like rear ends, everybody has one. We will never know if Coach Rash would/could be successful at the Mighty Moe, he will be at Beechwood, the small little class A school in KY(a basketball state) which has no chance against any of the bigger schools as no school in KY ever has a chance against the invincible GCL.

You have no clue what you are talking about! Rash could coach anywhere across the river or in KY and be successful as he is a great coach and a great motivator. Rash is not going anywhere, unless, he gets one of those multi yr contracts w/all the signing bonus' and incentives:ylsuper:

From what I looked at on weather.com, looks like bad weather tonight into morning, stopping around 9am and clearing thru 3pm.. So, 1A game looks dry, git-r-done!

The picture of Wed practice is the reason Beechwood will win. They did not have to go indoors for practice, mental and physical toughness to overcome any weather conditions if presented w/it. The Tigers roll!

I am probably reading into this statement but are you saying that LCA will be the best team Beechwood has faced all yr?????? If so, you haven't seen much football outside of the LCA stadium.

Trust me, they BELIEVE! Old saying that began in the early 70's w/the playoffs, WE BELIEVE! Very focused week of practice even w/all the media coming everyday but the kids handled it well, they are ready, let the game begin:fight:

Bluto glad your back and glad you put the family first! It is a shame the other thread got closed down, might have been a record for posts on a thread before it was said and done. Anyway, how ironic that Beechwood has been limping around all yr up until the state championship game. My sources say that the trainer finally has the entire team healthy and ready to go, at least 95%. W/a fully healthy team I can't imagine them getting beat. The line is a dominating force, w/powerful and flee footed backs and a QB that can run like the wind and throw BB's to WR(Daniels, Amelung, Downton, Spence) who have really stepped up since the playoffs began.
