How did this thread go from discussing Ashland's team this year and so called "problems", to last year's freshamn AIT outcome?

Does either team have anyone that will play at the next level? And if so have they been offered by anyone yet?

Has anyone offered him anything yet?

Where is Jones going to play college ball?

Daniel McDavid decided way before the season that he wasn't going to play. I don't really know why the rest don't want to play. I have been told that they want to concentrate on football which is fine. But the positions these kids play in football do not require them to be big bulky guys. They need to concentrate on their speed and quickness and basketball would really help them with this. I think these kids are making a mistake not playing but it's not my call it's theirs. As far as Luke Bonner his knee is bothering him, and he doesn't want to injure it more because he has a chance to play college football. Kevin Burns quit last year during the middle of the season and I don't think anyone really expected him to come out for the team this year. I know many players on the team personally and they all really like Coach Biggs! They say he is easy to talk to and and really cool off the court. On the court he pushes them every day in practice and stays on them. He tries to get the best out of his players like every good coach does. Everyone really enjoys playing for him. I don't know why these kids quit momcat, but I can assure you it wasn't because of Coach Biggs. Should be a good year in tomcat land this yr. if there are no injuries or illnesses. They should be fun to watch as well. :ylsuper:

I dont really know why the other one got shur down but i'd like to continue discussing this topic. I thought it took alot for these kids after the Raceland game to turn their seaon around and have the season they did. Does anyone think anyone on the team has a chance of playing at the next level? Who stepped up big for the Cats this yr.? Who do you think improved the most? Anybody have a shot at making all state this yr? Who should step up next yr and fill the shoes? Thoughts? Ashland has several players that SHOULD be on this : Fields Davis, Drew McDavid, Travis Gallagher, Matt Thomas, Josh Cordle, Luke Bonner (should be but I don't know since he missed so much of the seaon?) and heres one Preston Freeman greta kicker!

Strong? They are both very tall but I wouldn't consider them strong. :confused: :walk:

I disagree with you on one thing in your post. I do not think Johnson Central has as good of passing game as Ashland. I think Ashland has a better qb and I think they have a better group of receivers. I don't know if the qb will have enough time to throw and the receivers enough time to get open but i think if Ashland's O line gives them time they are better than Johsnon Central in that aspect of the game. Just my opinion.

I have no clue who you could be talking about? Dakota and Chad are maybe two of the best..but who is the third you are talking about? And the best defensive player in the region on Rose Hill? I can't wait to see who you are reffering to.

Elliot will NOT win th 16th this yr. They are a doughnut team, and by that I mean they have no one in the middle.

In regards to Blazer what AAU phenoms are you talking about?

Mason will definitley be a worthy opponent. Ashland, JCHS, and Mason are the three best teams in the district. One thing about Mason is they always have athletes. Ashland will definitley come in with their hands full in this one. I think the players are focused though, and i think with a good week of practice we can bring home a win.:banana:
