I guess you answered your own question. Because Beechwood is a very good team, regardless of class. And Prestonsburg appears to be very inconsistent this year. Note their last 2 games where it looked like they didn't even show up. It looks like P burg has the capabilities, but doesn't always play with it's heart. I'm not up on Prestonsburg this year except for the scores, but their inconsistency is obvious. Either they are not playing well of late or the other teams are preparing for them better.

Instead of relying on someone else for help, why didn't your team just beat Prestonsburg on September 12, instead of LETTING them beat you 40-14?

If the radio announcers in that area are like a lot of the ones in this area, it would be impossible to tell what's going on. Around here they only use the mascot name and only tell the score when someone scores (sometimes the full score, sometimes only the side that scored) or at halfime and the end of the game. I live near the state border and have an unreliable analog dial on the radio. I never know who I'm listening to or what the score is either, so I gave up on the radio.

There seems to always be someone around who wants to rain on the parade. You know, Berea could be a lot better than the teams they've beaten, no matter the other team's won/loss records. Congratulations to Berea! Thanks for having the heart to play while you were down and giving it your all! Enjoy this season.
