That's a lot to say about a team that just waxed you, giving you your worst loss since the mid 90's. It is your opinion though. But you were also of the opinion that Duece wouldn't be able to run for 100 yards on "the best run D that Redmon [sic] put together in a while." Forgive me if I take it with a grain of salt this time around...

It will be interesting to see what happens in the polls this week with the top team losing a good game to a top team in the country, the second best team waxing the third best team. Polls don't mean anything, but they're fun to discuss. Not sure if tonight will be enough for the pollsters to move X above T and it will be interesting to see how far Male falls.

You can come out to Manual stadium next Friday or swing by PJCS in two weeks and see if the Tigers can prove they're the best in the state this year. After looking great against LC, they did something no one expected and punched Male in the mouth time and time again. Congrats to T, it was a great effort and will only help down the line. I was pulling for you all.

Yes, X signed a two year deal with the Rocks, so they'll get another crack at them next year.

Trinity and St. X both are and Male isn't far behind.

TKE, even X does do the same things that they've done in the past 6 meetings between the two teams, they'll have a 66% chance of winning, based on the past results (4 wins out of 6). X has never passed much before, but it hasn't stopped them from winning. This team has more speed overall than most of X's teams in the past. Both teams lost their big star from last year in Vic and Doug. I think that Duece has done a great job replacing Vic's production but I don't think anyone has or will step up to replace Doug's as well. In my mind, that gives X the edge. Another point I think a lot of people may overlook is that this game is being played in mid September rather than the usual late October. With all the guys playing two ways for Male and their lack of traditional conditioning, I think there are going to be a lot of tired dogs in the second half. It will only be worse if they do line up and try to play smashmouth football against a team that's been doing it for 90 years.

Wow, great job by the JV squad! What happened with the 4 points though, as that's the hardest score to obtain in football.
