Hmmm This one I think will depend alot on the pitching. With Shelley on the mound " The Burg " wins. So I will say these two teams split.

Wow, I thought more of you would have had comments on this one. Here are my thoughts on the game: Both teams are playing well right now. Whitley has won 8 of there last 9 and swept distict rival Williamsburg. Corbin has been hitting the ball really well and split with South Laurel. An important game for both teams. I think tonights games will depend on a good defense. Both teams can hit the ball and the outcome will depend on who can make the plays. I think the games end in a split however, I sure hope my Colonels can pull off the sweep!:fight:

The Corbin Redhounds take on the Colonels of Whitley County Tuesday in a district double header. Any comments on how these two games will play out?:fight:

This is how all 50th district games are played. Not sure about the reasoning behind it. Maybe so the kids face two different pitchers.

I heard that Williamsburg and Lynn Camp scrimmaged and not sure of the score but heard Williamsburg won that one. Whitley and North Laurel scrimmaged last night with Whitley winning that one 9-5.

Is any of the teams scrimmaging yet? If so how are the teams looking? Which players are standing out? Just wondering if the weather was allowing anyone to play?

Anyone know when the 2008 baseball preview will be put on here?

He was suspended from playing.I can't discuss the reasons, and from what I hear he will be back for playoffs.

Those kids are walking the halls of the Whitley County High School. Until politics are removed from the program this will continue to be the case. You have many students that played all through elementary and middle school and decided not to play for the high school. There has to be a reason, don't you think?:confused:

Shew, I do believe if Whitley played a little league team the radio guys would still give the old excuse of how young that Colonel team is.They need to Get over it. Whitley just isn't playing good football right now and its not because of their youth.

If in fact Comparoni is now a Yellow Jacket, will he even be eligible to play? What are the rules on that?

Well Apex, looks like the Whitley Coach has earned that coach of the year status...Whitley County is now 16-9 if I'm not mistaken and, still have games to go...
