I read on the girl's forum that Lake Kelly was helping him coach by using hand gestures across the gym during the girl's game last night. I think I may smell a rat.

Sounds like the administration at Fleming have some serious personal issues. They need to call Dr. Phil to help with self analysis and personal reflection! Now...............that would be way cool.:banana: :creepy: Then maybe they would learn to stand up for what is right.

Coach P may be an alright person, but everyone in the state knows that daddy P takes care of his boy when its time for the ball to be thrown up.

From what I have read, it sure sounds like they have the student's best interest in mind. It sounds like they have everything under control before testing time. :fire: The administration better hope that test scores aren't affected and with students anymore you can never tell what they may do!

Hasty decisions don't always work out for the best. Since becoming principal at Fleming the discipline problems have decreased creating a better learning environment for the students. I have heard several comments from teachers, staff, and students throughout the community on the positive effects Messer has had since becoming principal. However, the word on the street is that things haven't been as calm this week within the walls of the newly renovated school. :confused:

So does that mean that fleming prefers a girl's coach for their men's program. Nothing against the people who coach the girl's program, it's a difficult job. But I would think it requires a different type of personality.

There's always room for a top notch coach. Maybe they will move the water cooler next to the steps. :banana: :dancingpa

Who is Troy Lee. Is he originally from fleming county or does he have family there?

Articles in newspaper are often written based on one perspective of the situation depending on the stories purpose. We all learned that in english class when writing persuasive papers. Most of the time they get only one side of the story which isn't always the whole story. I have read many stories that aren't factually correct, but they do make for good reading.

Not trying to make a specific point. Just a statement in general. This was a part of a conversation I had the other day.

Just because he is young doesn't mean he shouldn't get recognized at this time.

Coaches make believers. A talented team without a good coach will not get very far. A good coach can take a less than average team, turn them into believers, give them a 100% work ethic, and compete with anyone using pure determination.

Who do you think will be a top runner for the coaching position? Is there someone who applied for the job when Messer got it they may get the nod?

Congrats on the back to back trips to the sweet 16 what ever the years may have been. I thought that for several years after those two good teams that the panthers regularly were beaten by 40 or 50 points.

I thought in the games that I watched the 8th grader for JBS was just as good as Stepp. Stepp scores a lot of points, but shoots many more shots than the other kid.

If Messer doesn't come back, more than likely people won't spend their time commenting on the panthers team. He put life in a program as laid back as the town. Before he showed up in Fleming county I had never heard of it.
