He is, but he just took the head coaching job at Barren County last year. I'm not sure if he'd jump ship this quickly. It'd be a good fit for him if he did though.

If I'm not mistaken I believe it is open. Something about Coach Shelton's wife being re-located or something? Someone else might have some more information.

You've gotta love the 4th region. I sat with some buddies I made from Bowling Green, cheering on Franklin-Simpson tonight. And I'm from Glasgow. Two excellent games tonight! I don't know how all the other tournaments have went... But as far as exciting goes... This years 4th region tournament has to be in the top 3.

Number 24 got the techinical but they switched it to an Intentional instead.

If Russell County can keep up the good inside play then they should win this one around the 5-10 point range. If Franklin-Simpson is ice cold like Warren Central was, then that should make it even easier for Russell Co.

District Championship or further. Maybe not state championship further... But about as far as Monroe made it last year. The lack of a decent O-line or D-line is really what killed them last year.

If Glasgow can get a stable line that can block and tackle, they definitely have the skill athletes that should be able to get the job done.

Russell County might have knocked off Warren Central... But I think that Barren County probably would've had a good chance tonight. The 14th district took a couple of blows tonight, but I still think Bowling Green will take the region unless today's triple overtime game took it's toll on them. Congratulations to Russell County though, I think they might have finally been accepted into the 4th Region! :clap: Oh and BTW DragonFire... That kitten comment was just simply uncalled for... :lol:

I'd say from '99 to '05 that Glasgow had the edge against the teams in their district (Well, Green Co., Metcalfe Co., and Monroe Co.) But times have changed. I do hope however they get their mess straightned out and are able to return to the Eubank-era style of football. :thumb:
