I would love for that to be the case. As it stands, they are dressing about 5 Freshman...and some of these kids actually get Varsity playing time when they have no business being on the floor. Not the kids or the coach's fault. After kids quit and others were injured, they weren't left with a lot of choices.

I don't know much about Dayton, but should this game have been this close? I know the Juggs aren't exactly world-beaters, but is Dayton good enough to take them to OT like they did?

I don't believe he played anywhere after leaving the Royals. Not completely sure what happened there.

Lloyd has Dayton, Gallatin (which I believe has been canceled), NCC, Highlands, Grant Co., and Campbell Co. I only see one possible win in that group.

I have also seen what I believe to be poor officiating in the 9th this year. However, that being said, I would like to add that I couldn't do a better job. Nor do I care to. You have to have some pretty thick skin to call b-ball games. No matter what you call (or don't call) someone is always going to think it's the wrong call. Tough situation. I have to admire them for doing it, though I think they must be gluttons for punishment.

No Lloyd mention? JK I really wish my Lloyd boys would get on track. I think they have decent talent, and they play their butts off, it just seems like they're always over-matched. It's a shame.

Agreed. It would be nice to have a GM like that in Cincinnati. Did anyone notice that Castellini mentioned that there was room for the Bill James type of scouting within the Reds organization, and that money had been allotted for th practice of that?

Yes, this is the HS level. I certainly plan on delegating the fundraising responsibilities once I get things where they need to be. We are, however, working from a negative budget, which I am taking it upon myself to correct. Beyond that, I will have parents oversee any fundraising.

Yeah, everyone is trying out. I was around the program for a couple years, so I do know of some players that will be around. I just don't want to grab a select group of kids and give the impression that I am employing favoritism.
