Our KNN Scoreboard Show Bluegrass Preps.com Player of the Week is Cory Farris a 6' RB from Boone County who was the total work-horse for the night. 55 carries for 298 yards and 4 TDs and a 2pt conversion. All of this in last week's win over Shelby County.

Trinity QB Will Stein was on target in a win over Henry Clay, completing 17 of 24 passes for 345 yards and six scores. While the Dutton twins - Alex and Nathan - had a big night catching the ball for Trinity. Alex had seven receptions for 174 yards and two TDs. Nathan had five grabs for 132 yards and three TDs. Trnity's Tim Phillips ran 24 times for 180 yards and a TD. Henry Clay was led by Dontey Gay’s 100 yards rushing. He also had six catches for 83 yards and a score. Henry Clay QB Ryan Phillippi completed 19 of 37 passes for 270 yards and one TD.

Our KNN Scoreboard Show Player Of The Week is Lone Oak QB Corey Robinson. A typical day at the office for Mr. Robinson. Corey was 31-42-0 with 7 Td's passing & 1 rushing Td & also had an Int on defense. Corey broke the national mark of 77 Tds (he currently has 81). He also broke Zach Barnard (Owensboro Catholic 2004) single season passing record of 4,660. Corey numbers for the year are 295-377-4 78.2 Pct 4,778 Yds 81 Tds. Corey has led Lone Oak to 12-0 season.

This one was truly a no-brainer.....Our KNN Scoreboard Show/ Bluegrass Preps .com Player Of The Week is Shelby County quarterback Alex Matthews. Alex tied a state record with 9 touchdown passes while leading the Rockets to a stunning 60-56 upset of 12th-ranked Scott County. Matthews, returning to form after recovering from a shoulder injury, completed 30 of 52 passes for 497 yards. Matthews’ 9 TDs tied the state record shared by Andy Greer of Williamsburg, J.J. Hesch of Newport and Gerry Ahrens of Male. Matthews increased his season passing totals to 3,376 yards and 40 TDs.

This week's KNN Scoreboard Show/ BGP.com Player Of The Week is Lone Oak QB Corey Robinson. Corey was 22 of 23 for 463 Yds & 8 Tds. in a victory over Heath. He broke the Kentucky y single season record for touchdown passes in a season. Corey now has 67 tds for the year. Corey is 233 of 284 (78.2 Pct) for the season , and has passed for 3687 Yds for the season leading his team to a 10-0 mark.

I hope we can get more nominees as the playoffs begin gang.

Since he's the only nominee with stats from last week, here is out KNN Scoreboard Show/BGP.com Player Of the Week. Rob Kues, Jr QB for Newport Central Catholic threw for 221 yds including a 56 yd td strike. Also ran for 2 td's: one from 14 yds and the game winner from 2 yds out in OT to beat Campbell County. Blocking was provided by SR. Dustin Giesler (among others).

Okay--who has the details? This kid is a prime candidate this week.

This week's KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps.com Player Of The Week is Ricky Bowling, a 6'1 185 pound junior QB from South Laurel. Ricky had 459 yards passing and 6 TD's in So. Laurel's 52-48 win over Mercer Co.

Our KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps.com Player of The Week is Boone County's Cory Farris. The Senior RB had 40 Carries, 330 Yards, 2 TD's, Longest 81 yards in a victory over Dixie Heights 43-27. On the year, Farris has 210 carries for 1579 yards and 17 TD's. Sorry about the mix-up, but I assumed when someone posted the Sparks article it was fresh.

This week's KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps.com Player Of the Week is Pineville High Schools Sr. RB T.J. Lord. T.J. rushed 12 times for 218 yards and 3 TD's, and Also caught 3 passes for 42 yards. He had a total of 260 yards of offense and 24 points scored. He also had 3 tackles and and 2 sacks on the defensive side of the football.

Our Player Of the Week was Trimble County QB/LB Justin Hawkes. Justin rushed 9 times for 95 yards and 3 TDs. He was 8 of 14 passing for 131 yards. On defense, Justin had an interception, 3 sacks, and 13 tackles. Great overall performance!

Sorry this is a bit tardy gang--I was stuck on jury watch in Bullitt County. This week's KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps.com Player Of The Week is Trimble Co's QB/LB Justin Hawkes. In the Raiders 36-23 win against Carroll Co, Justin scored 3 TDs rushing and had 95 rushing yards on just 9 carries. Justin was alsio 8-14 for 131 yds. On defense, he had an interception AND made 13 tackles, including 3 sacks. Congrats on a great all-round game:banana:

I'm trying to figure out a way to recognize O lines or individual linemen, but I want to be fair. I wish we had a reliable stat to judge them on. I'm open to any, and all suggestions!

This week's KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps.com Player Of The Week is Hazard Quarterback Tyler Olinger. Tyler accounted for all nine touchdowns in Hazard’s 65-26 win over Perry County Central in the annual Black/Gold Bowl. Olinger threw for 404 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 141 yards and five scores as Hazard improved to 5-0.

Our KNN Scoreboard Show/ BGP.com Player Of The Week is Tates Creek running back Ty Sparks. The 5'8", 165 pound Senior rushed for 403 yards against a tough Madison Central team. He had 45 carries for 403 yards. That's the first time a Lexington player has ever cracked 400 yards in a game. Ty also ran for 2 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion. Congratulations Ty!
