I think he is...and IF they win this year he will be the only QB (of the greats) to go undefeated and the only one to win 18-19 games. He also IMO does not have the HOF's surrounding him that many of the other greats QB's has on offense (with the exception of Moss this year). Montana threw to the best receiver ever, Bradshaw threw to 2 HOF's as well as a HOF rb. This is def subjective but I think when they win this week it will seal his legacy as best ever.

I'm not sure why people make a big deal out of him having a bar and wine cellar in his house...I have both as well.

I think Mike will do a terrific job at Ballard.

Word on the street is that Mike Jackson is taking the head coaching job at Ballard. I would assume this is the Mike Jackson from Pikeville who just stepped down, but wasn't there a Mike Jackson at Oldham County as well??

Let me say this....there is NO WAY I would ever "paddle" my son the way I was "paddled". My father was a VERY LARGE man with an even bigger temper. When he angered...it wasnt fun. Did it teach me discipline...not sure...but I can tell you this, it taught me resentment. What we received (my brothers and I) would be called paddling by most.

Can paddling be a form of discipline? Possibly. It all depends on the person doing it. What kind of self control they have as an individual. My father should have never been allowed to paddle someone. Now I was not abused...I want that to be clear. And someone already stated "paddling" as being on the behind...with what? I can assure you that a tobacco stick to the rear is not pleasant.

As far as paddling in the schools...I was a teacher at one time...never touched a student and never needed too. But I can never see any scenario where I would physically discipline anyone else's child.

He is/was Head Coach at Paducah Tilghman High School. He was at Campbellsville High before that. Coach Thomas knows the area, school, and many of the former CU alumni very well. And he absolutely can coach.

I look for C-ville to get a guy with small college experience and some Carson-Newman ties. I thought Chuck King would be a prime candidate, but I'm not sure he is interested. C-ville needs to take a long look at their compensation package and make it competitive with the other small colleges in the state and better than a top high school job. What really needs to happen is to have some booster or alum with deep pockets pony up a little cabbage. Gus McCrae, where are you when we need you?

The players constantly taunting the BHS sidelines towards the end of the game, dancing around during the game, this shows no discipline on the coach's part leaving a very sour taste in ones mouth.

Thats BUSH LEAGUE....I was at that game and LCA's players were not taunting BW's sidelines. I am sure they were more than ecstatic...A 5 yr program just beating the cow bell of Class A football in KY. I think some of the "taunting " you are referring too has been misconstrued...

LCA embarrassed Beechwood in '05 and they have not forgotten all the extra curricular activities that took place on the field during the butt whoopin'!

 

Beechwood will show up and I guarantee that. This group of Sr's haven't forgotten what it was like to see their older teammates humiliated in a game.

I can shed a little light...Most of the stories being told are NOT true. There are a couple that are true. Most have been way overblown. For the record...he was NOT skinny dipping...but he WAS in the pool. I go to Merrick in quite a bit. And he is NOT there all the time. He has been there a few times. But I have not seen him since the season started. As a matter of fact...I was talking with him one night and he was asking me to tell him some of the stories. He's a very cool guy. Lastly, he IS a bit of woman chaser:lol:

Also If Hendo beats Silva for the MW belt would they give Franklin a shot at Hendo? I think Hendo would win that fight but I think Franklin matches up with Dan and his style alot better than he does with Anderson.

I would have to disagree...If Ace thought Anderson was strong he will be in for a Huge suprise with Hendo. Hendo is one of the strongest guys lb 4 lb in MMA. He would absolutely maul Ace on the ground.

I can't say for certain, but I think that is mainly the Chinese government. If you count all dollar denominated assets, the PRC controlls $1 trillion.

Did anyone watch UFC 78? It was OK. I wanted to see Thiago Silva and Houston Alexander...Silva took him down and destroyed him. As many suspected, Houston is WEAK from his back. He offered no defese once Thiago got on top. Silva is going to be a stud in the 205 pound division, so this is not a bad loss for Alexander, IMO.

 

Evans and Bisping was a bad main event for UFC...as I figured it would be. It would have been a good undercard fight, but it couldn't carry the show...it was fairly boring for the most part, with a few good moments sprinkled in. However, if Bisping won against Hamill, then he certainly won against Evans, because he didn't get dominated nearly as bad this time. It was a split decision.

I think Silva's reign is coming to an end come March. Hendo also said he wants another shot at the 205 champ for his fight after March and I think Dana will give it to him.

I think Couture would be a really bad match up for Rampage. Rampage could not win the clinch battle with Randy.

Instead I look for Dana to force Randy to defend his HW belt.

78 was one of the worse PPV's I have seen in a while. There was a couple good fights. The Evans/Bisbing fight was just brutal to watch. That was a terrible Main Event.

Thought Herman looked good.

1) They buy it on the open market or whenever the Treasury sells bonds. Japan holds almost twice the U.S. debt that China holds.

2) They simply put it back on the market. And when you dump that many securities in a short period, their value drops.

3) They would especially like to buy U.S. companies. Real Estate is another possible purchase.

Went to see this movie last night. Definetley worth the price of admission.

Saw it last night...really good...Denzel makes you believe he is Frank Lucas...But I do think they left some parts out or edited parts that would explain a few things...It is a long movie so I bet they edited some things for time that would have explained some things.

After 5 wins the last 2 seasons is this the denouement for the Bulldog staff. Shouldn't the 2nd biggest public high school in the state be better than this?

I have thought the same from watching them the last couple of years...but be careful what you say as they have their loyal defenders on here.
