I read all these quotes on the Bengals website too, that were taken right after the game. I know Chad did not see it from the bench all the way across the field or any of the others on the bench. They all saw the replay on the Jumbo tron as I did. At that time I thought it was a good block until I got home and seen the replay up close. Wait until they see the film.
That's his M.O. That's what he's known for," Ndukwe said. "You expect that coming in. People are going to take their shots when they can. Too bad he can't hit someone face up. It's too bad he has to wait until he's not looking to get him. It's unfortunate. It's the type of guy he is. That's all right. We play them again. He's a blind-side guy."
Watch the replay, you can't tell me that he didn't lower his head and lead with his helmet right into Rivers jaw. That is as cheap as it gets and very cowardly. He has always played like that, he won't hit anyone head on.
He is the worst kind of dirty player, a sneaky dirty player.
There are still some fun things to watch like Rivers getting better each week.
But the best was watching Whitworth frustrate Haynesworth to the point to where he threw a couple punches on one play, ripped off Whitworth"s helmet on another and got blown back seven yards down field on yet another. I just wish the rest of the line would follow his lead.
I went to their scrimmage at Cov.Cath. and came away impressed with the defense, mostly the run defense. They mixed the offense very well with screens, long passes and two hard running backs.
The Camels are fotunate to have a bye already this coming week, I have heard they came out of this game a little banged up. Rose the tailback had somekind of shin injury, and fullback Sampson dislocatesd an elbow which they popped back in on the sidelines. Hopefully these guys are ready in two weeks for the distrct games to begin.
The Camels looked pretty good on both sides of the ball. They swarm to the ball on defense, a couple blown coverages on pass plays though.
They have a couple backs that run the ball very hard, good receivers and two good Quarterbacks.
