I guess I was watching a different game than you. The only dirty playing I saw was from the Titans. Mostly that offensive lineman who was throwing punches after the whistle. I am anything but a Ravens fan, but they play very hard on defense.

But they may have enough D.

These teams are too fast for Big Ten refs.:thumb:

I think they drafted pretty well last draft. Rivers will be or is real good(I wasn't happy at the time, wanted Ellis) Sims has out played Dorsey and Ellis, when put in starting line-up the Bengals run D got a lot better. Collins and Caldwell both can be good players. Jury still out on Simpson You get four good players in one draft it wasn't too bad with that being said I still would like to see more scouts.:thumb:

That is the first thing they teach these guys, to ask quetions they already know the answer to.

I know but I just know he is going to go off one week, his past history he finishes strong every year. But this Qb does'nt even look at him. You watch this will be the week (with my luck) against a not so good Bronco defense.

Haynesworth Becomes an Un-restriced free agent
rustyhurd replied to SirMixAlot's topic in National Football League (NFL)
I know it is only a dream but just imagine for just a second (because thats how long it takes to remember its the Bengals) how much the Bengals would instantly be better. Sims is going to be a good player and with him next to Haynesworth, Odem had great years playing with him in Tenn. All of this would make the Db's better and then ad in Rivers. Would be fun to watch, oh well it is nice to dream. -
Gametime Myself and a co-worker got into a disscussion about the Bengals the other day. He was telling me that Jim Lippincott has a lot to do with the Bengals problems. I was told that Brown brought him in with no experience just because they are good friends. I was told that he was a High School coach who became friends of the Brown family and has had no clue how to do his job for some time now. Also they have one scout and three scout consultants. What is Director of Football Operations, the Bengals version of a GM. Do you have any insight of Lippincott? Ravens vs Cowboys Predictions
rustyhurd replied to Pancake's topic in National Football League (NFL)
I don't see 58pts scored in this game but you never know, Ravens defense may score a couple times. -
The game will be replyed this week and the Super Bowl moved back a week. We now have bench points as a playoff tie breaker. By the way I am one of the teams, now do I start Lee Evans against Denver or Lance Moore against Detroit along with Reggie Wayne and Roddy White?
-
He may have a scenario in place but I just don't remeber it or find it on the web site. Our league is several years old.
-
Our playoffs have started and in the first round we have a tie. Who gets the win? Team A has more bench points (in the tie game) Team B won the only regular season match up Team A was the highest point total for the year Team B is a two seed Team A is a three seed I was just wondering what everyone thinks, I haven't talked to the Commish yet and have not seen anything in our rules for this. Just curious

You could not be more right. Liggins throws a long pass to Patterson, scores and a foul. Huggins calls timeout. 4:15 left. I look to my son and said watch Huggins, Huggins begins screaming at his players instead of coaching as usual. I said to my son game over, they will be lucky to score 5 more points. Huggins finished the game screaming at players and referees. That is how he goes all the time, best thing to happen to UC was to get rid of him.

I don't blame him. -
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/29/ap/sportsline/main4556727.shtml This maybe the only Bengal that I believe when he says what goes around comes around. Wants to take a needle in the face if it meant he could play in the next Steeler game this year.
