I know their Coach, thier School, Parents, Friends, The Community and The County are bursting with Deming Pride and Joy. It's fitting this group of young ladies won the Championship. Calvin Schalch fouled out in the 1st OT but Jordan Earlywine and the rest stepped it up.

Black Devils are 1-2 against the Bluejackets, yes it's in Carlisle and the edge to some may think the it swings to NC, But if the Devils play together like they did in the last few games, we will be making the trip to Mt. Sterling.

Heard from a source that the Deming Washington County game at Nicholas County was canceled by Washington County anyone else hear about this?

After being down by 15 in the first quarter Black Devils come back to win by a game winning shot by Johnathen Pilosky who had 27 and led all scorers, Calvin Schalch had 25pts. and Darrin Edwards came off the bench to chip in 10.:clap::clap: Devils improve to 9-19.

Myself I would have to nominate Kelsey Carmack. Because of what she went thru and the determination to comeback season after season after all 3 injuries and is playing now, She has shown grit, determination, and not to mention hard work to get back to were she needs to be. If not POY of the year then she should Inspirational Player of the Year.

Beliieve he played a role player since he was a freshman and came of the bench several times and add some lift for us, always thought he was better then a role player and he's proved that. His brother Rex was a Black Devil but hurt his hand his Senior Year.

Calvin scored his 1,000 point as a Black Devil in last night's game against Lloyd Memorial.

Coal Grove improves to 13-5.

She deserves to have something good after the many surgeries, rehab and all that had happen to her. I agree, I think she has found her stride and gotton back into her game.

Black Devils ran out to a 11-0 lead in the first period, MC didn't score till the 3:19 mark in the 1st period, after halftime the Wildcats took the lead and it was nip and tuck till the Black Devils iced some freethrows at the end. Calvin Schalch had 23 pts. Johnathan Pilosky had a double-double with 16pts. and 12 rebounds, Jordan Earlywine pulled down 12 rebounds.Devils iimprove to 8-8.

We all know Kelsey Carmack had 3 injuries to her knees twice in one leg, she is doing fine now and wears a brace on one and she is giving it her best in every game and I comend her for playing again. Many would of thought of quiting but not Kelsey, So if anything I said here helps Ms. Stricklin to comeback and believe she will and if there is any doubt take a page from how Kelsey has fought and comeback after the same injuries x3. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
