Where are we going
Somerset. The Jumpers hold LCA 4 times from the 1 yard line for the win. 35-31
-
Huge sack by Jacob Grabeel on 3rd down. Jumpers ball at the LCA 40. Jumpers lead 35-31 4:55 to go.
-
Nice drive by Somerset. Big pass from Sheron to Grundy, long scramble by Sheron, capped off by a QB sneak. 35-31 Somerset 8 minutes to go.
-
SW receivers have dropped eleventy billion passes tonight!
It's the field.
-
Somerset to punt...LCA has been gashing SHS on punt returns all night.
Except for that muffed kickoff Somerset's kick coverage has been awful.
-
LCA fumbles the kick off...Somerset ball at the 19.
It was a pooch kick. The LCA player tried to field it on a sprint and it bounced off of his face/ chest and went straight to the Somerset coverage.
-
17-14 LCA at halftime. The Eagles will receive to start the 2nd half.
-
They need to go to there power game it seems like it.
They finally started picking up the blitz of off the corner.
-
Heck of a pick and return by Stayton. The dirty play by LCA seems to have woke Somerset up.
-
LCA is dirty. That's at least 3 personal fouls already. No reason to run into the kicker there. He took 2 extra steps.

Maybe, it's horrible. I'm watching on FB Live and it's just horrible.
Doesn't seem to be bothering Pulaski too much.
-
If Somerset doesn't score on this drive this game is over.
-
SW run attack severely hampered by the field conditions, backs can't plant and cut.
INT at midfield, PC returns the ball to the SW 36.
I wonder if the SW fan's comments about the field conditions in advance of the game has psyched out the Warrior players...
-
Announcers just said they are struggling with the blitzers everytime they blitz.
They're being severely out-schemed. LCA's defense is 3 steps ahead of Somerset's offense. They're bringing at least one untouched every play.
-
I missed how they drove down last drive...how did they get down so deep?
LCA kicked it out of bounds so they started at the 35. Sheron scrambled for his life, threw one up for grabs that got caught. He's got zero time to throw. Even on the nice gain they just picked up.
-
Somerset is getting whipped on the offensive line. Just whipped.

The Red Sox have resigned World Series MVP Steve Pearce to a one year deal.

I thought SW should have won the first one so who knows. Pulaski earned it with a 13 or 14 play 98 yards long drive, while converting about (4) fourth downs to win. SW wasn't overwhelming PC by any means but was about to go up 21-7 when they fumbled on PC's 3 or 4 yard line. PC delivered it's first 90+ yard drive to pull to 14-14 just before half and SW never seemed to get in sync again. I likes SW chances heading towards the rematch up until PC rolled the last two weeks and SW stumbled down the stretch. Sawyers, (SW"s do all qb), is as healthy as he has been in a while so that really helps SW. SW only threw the ball 3 or 4 times the first mtg so I think you will see them throw a little more but the field conditions are going to be terrible so it's really just a crap shoot tonight. I'm all in for SW and really hope they can pull it off. Just an opinion, but the game should have been moved to SW. Pulaski earned the right to host but SW's field is in much better shape by a LONG shot. Pulaski's field is a safety hazard.
Since Pulaski's offense is pass first and pass second wouldn't the field conditions hurt them more than Southwestern by your logic? If you think the field conditions will be bad enough to prevent Southwestern from passing it would seem to be devastating for Pulaski.

No surprise here. Christian Yelich and Mookie Betts take home the prizes.

I'm pretty sure that you are correct. He knows football, but if he wants to be the coach, then they need to name him the coach. Otherwise, let the Coach do the coaching.
He managed to go 1-10 at Dunbar. It's debatable as to how much football he knows.
-
I just don't see LCA mustering enough offense to keep this one close. I'll take Somerset 28-7.

Yet Michael Lorenzen can’t win one...
When your major gripe during awards season is that your pitcher didn't win a hitting award, well, you've probably had a bad season.

LCA had the ball 1st and goal from the 1 with 40 seconds to go. 2 runs lost a yard. The Eagles had to spike the ball on 3rd down . The clock appeared to run out but the officials put a second back on the clock. (And it looked like there should have been a second put back on). LCA's play action pass fell incomplete in the end zone as time expired. Huge goal line stand by the defense after LCA made a brilliant drive down the field. Great game.
