Dont know where you get your information and dont care but my son will graduate from there and yes Madeline was referring to us leaving in a round a bout way. I have not said a word about it for a couple of weeks but when Madeline gets on here and throws his slurs toward my family you will read it again. I am trying to leave on good terms but I will not let someone get on here and talk about my family.

After reading my last post I want to clear something up before it is taken the wrong way. There are a lot of kids there for a religious education and that is great that is what the school is for and yes there are a couple that are there for sports and to me that is fine also. Like I said before Rose Hill is a great school and we have loved it there.

I have told you Madeline why we are leaving and I really do not want to go there again and I definately am not taking my problem, trust me he is staying at Rose Hill. As far as the ones that are left are for religious education is a joke. I have been there for 13 years so no one can say that we were there for sports, we did not transfer into the system for basketball like some have the last 2 years we were there from day 1. I do not even know why you are bringing up us tranfering again in the boys forum

I just figured that your next comment would be how bad the athletic director was at Rose Hill and how she did absolutely nothing, and then I figured you would some way or another find someone to fit that job perfect.

I would just like to say that some of you have no clue what happend at Rose Hill and you are going to get 2 sides and I understand that I just think its a shame that some of you want to talk about something you have no clue you want to come on here and tell people what the right thing is and you have no clue. I would just like to say that Rose Hill has been great to both of my kids and we have really enjoyed it there. My son has been there since K-3 and has played baseball and basketball every year he could, yes we have had some bad seasons and some great ones but he is still there and will graduate from there. On the other hand my daughter will be going to Ashland next season but it has nothing personal against the school. I am doing what I think is best for her at this time, and believe me I always wonder if I am making the right decision because she has been at Rose Hill for so long and Ashland will be such a big change. The girls at Rose Hill will always have a special place in our heart we have had such a wonderful time with them. The one thing that scares us is not enough girls that want to play and yes there is one parent that has done the school an injustice and we do not want to go through another season with him. Mark Watkins is a good coach and will do fine with the girls. My daughter and I have already discussed what will happen if she just does not like it at Ashland and we hope that Rose Hill would have us back if that would happen but if they dont then they dont. I guess you guys can now jump on this post and tell me whats right and wrong. Just remember I have nothing against the girls at Rose Hill.

All of the bickering you are talking about started with one parent that was not happy with the coaches and thought the girls should be able to beat Ashland and Boyd this past season. Rose Hill could not beat them this year they were way to young. In my opinion when you are not happy with the coaches you should not turn to other parents and try to get them to jump on your bandwagon and you should not get the girls together when the coaches are not there and try to turn them against the coaches. This is just my opinion maybe I am wrong.

I have never said anything bad about the girls at Rose Hill. All I have said is some of the girls really do not like basketball and that when you do not like something you are not going to put in the extra time to get better. I have been with these girls since 4th grade and I would never say anything about them. Mark is the coach and I have nothing against him so I have no clue what you are talking about.

These girls were worked with as a team ,the problem is some of these girls just dont like basketball and when you dont like something your not going to work hard at it. All of these girls were told they could shoot or drive to the basket if open and nothing will ever be said to them. You had two girls on this team that worked very hard just about every day even staying after practice to work on their shots and thats why in most games they were the leading scoreres and rebounders. I know where you are going with some of your cheap shots and I think its pretty sad that some of you actually believe that we only cared about one or two girls.

I think the Friley girl had the same chance to score as any other girl on the team, players have to put the ball in the basket when given the chance. When players stand around and do not want the ball then others will shoot. I am not pointing out the Friley girl either I am just saying you have to move and want the ball. I hope Mark does well with the team, I will always care for the girls on the team.

They have pretty close to the same schedule as last year. Just a few changes.

Well I dont know what you want us to say other than good luck Chad and we wish you the best. We will miss you very much you were a big part of our family.

Like I said believe what you want. Didnt the girls do pretty good the year before Mark got there? Guys I am not a Mark hater, Mark has worked with my daughter and I greatly appreaciated it ,all I am saying is this team had a lot of talent and that is why it went to state, yes Mark helped them with some things but he is not the reason.

Lots of people on here believe that Mark was the only reason the girls went to state and that he did it all and that is not true. Lets remember who was on the team.

I will say this one more time and then I will let it go and for those that want to believe it fine and those that dont thats fine to but I know first hand what happend 2 years ago. First Mark is a great individual coach(im my opinion) but he did not do what you people think he did 2 years ago and no I have nothing against Mark I am just stating the facts. If Mark gets the job he gets it but things are not going to be the way you people think.

Just to answer a few of the questions. Mark did not coach this year. Last year yes he was an assistant coach but no he did not do all of the coaching. The grade school girls play in the Boyd County League and whatever games they can get after that.

I was there watching Rose Hill and Greenup was playing right beside us. When someone went to ask the score they came back and told me Greenup was winning 4-0 in the sixth innning ,we left and the next morning I was told the score and could not believe it because the time that I did get to watch Greenup looked great and Appollo played great defense but was struggling hitting department. Greenup in my opinion will be very tough in the 16th this year.

I believe you could say that about a couple of players. Toward the end of the season their was a couple of players that stepped up and played extremely well.

I understand completely but some acted like they were the worst team in the region. They have a lot of work to do all I am saying is they are improving some and deserve a little credit.
