  2. I agree with most of what you said except maybe the tough schedule. Excluding the out of state schools, PC had a record of 13-11. Of those 13 wins, only two(Augusta and Mason Co.) had winning records. The won-loss record of those 13 schools was 129-243. Pendleton did play 7 teams with 20 0r more wins, defeating only Augusta.Interpret this info any way you want. I'm not sure Coach Simms would have done better with this year's edition of the Wildcats than Coach Cravens did.Nothing against Coach Cravens but personally i would have liked to have seen Simms have the chance.
  3. MC-60 HC-33 Johnson has double double midway through the third.
  4. Grant came out hot and ready to play. They scored the first 7 and possibly 9 points of the game. Two quick timeouts could not really slow their momentum. Pendleton failed to get back on defense and had trouble defending the three, especially from Carr. Pendleton had one spurt and closed the margin a bit, but Grant quickly regained control. This one was certainly over at the half. Grant Co. impressed me. They attacked the zone and the man to man equally well. They moved the ball extremely well and were relentless on defense. The Wildcats need to regroup and get it together emotionally as this is two games in a row they have been manhandled.
  5. Could not agree withyou more. Terrible decision and I am from Pendleton. The tournaments should only be held at sites that can accommodate the crowds. Had to watch on video at a regional final at GRC many years ago when Ronnie Lyons played for Mason County. Was not a happy camper!
  6. I assume it is at Harrison County. That's where the draw took place. The KHSAA site is not updated for this year so I'm not positive.
  7. Well, I suppose we shall see if the past seven years of district success against Harrison will continue for the Wildcats. Pendleton is 5-2 in district play against Harrison since they have been together in the 38th. All but last year's tournament were at Harrison County. Can Coach Cravens and this Wildcats' team continue this trend?
