Maybe. Maybe not. There isnt realy a whole lot to do in Winchester so we might just spend the rest of the week in mount sterling. It really kills me that the winner of this game will probably have to face a really good Montgomery County team 24 hours later, on their home court. If they take care of their business first. Tough task.

Mason county fans you better get up real early on saturday morning. If you don't you might not get a seat. Because Clark County will definitely be in the building. I hope this years game is as good as last years because I didnt get to attend that one. Good luck to both squads. GO CARDS!

Just like it was a given that Mason County was going to Rupp last year.

Last time I check Clark County still has to beat Bourbon County. Assume nothing in sports, thats why we play the games.

First of all, Scotty Hopson is a McDonald's All-American. Enough said. It is most definitely a 3 man race. Mack right now probably needs his team to make a run in Rupp to win. But there is a great possibility that his team wont be playing in Rupp. Miller should be there but i think he still needs to have a good showing. I think because alot of people feel Hopson doesnt play hard consistently that Miller has the upper hand. But all three have a chance to win and are very good basketball players. If Uk were to land Mr. Hopson that would give them two 5 star caliber recruits for the first time since '04.

I understand completely. I also understand that some of the schools in the region aren't set up to host a region tourney. But I think that having the tourney in Maysville and Mount Sterling in alternating years would make it a little more even. Wouldn't mind it being in Winchester atleast once just to have that atmosphere here.

Ok lets be realistic. To say that Mason County doesnt have an advantage playing in the fieldhouse is just like saying UK doesnt have an advantage playing in Rupp.(outside of this year) Especially since they already have a very talented team most years. And I'm really talking about tourney time. Being from Clark County I've made the trek to Maysville many of years. For one game no its not a huge advantage, but when your traveling that far 3 times in a 4 day period it does take its toll. I felt that Clark County was the better team last year, so i didnt feel like we upset mason talent wise. I felt like the upset was beating them in their building in March.

Out of the so called top 4 teams in the state Mason county is the most potent. I saw them play Catholic both times and they should have won both games. They already beat Station and how often are they gonna go 2-23 from behind the arc. And Miller's one weakeness is his on ball defense. Not uncommon for a highschool player. Plus he usually struggles with smaller guards.(see Preston Knowles!!)

For the first time in 39 years, the 10th region tournament will not be played in Maysville. Good or bad for the 10th region???
