Very glaring omissions!!! In the past, this list always, always included the 5 tentative playoff games. Who put this out? AD? But hey, why get ahead of ourselves. Just sayin!!!

You only need 5-6 when you only have 35 players. LOL! There are at least 3 frosh coaches on there. Maybe as many as 5. I know a few years ago, that many coaches if not maybe a couple more even were required because of the system of training that was in place. Things have changed so not sure if any are just "hangarounds" as you say.

I would think they would go. I know on the baseball side of it, most of if not all their coaches go to a weekend clinic every year.

Well I guess the guy basically responsible for a defense that gave up what, like 40 points a game over the last two years would be the obvious choice to move to offense. Hopefully convert those points to that side right? Yeah perfect!

This is kinda crazy. What about the guy from CCH maybe helping out at the JV level. Hopefully they can come up with some quality coaches. Last thing you want at this time of the run they are having, is to mess up all the chemistry happening. Varsity is set to make runs at State again and have to be probable favorites next 3-4 years in the 9th if not State with all the signed talent and younger talent in the program. These younger coaches need to keep developing talent for JB and crew at the Varsity level.Hope the get it worked out.

Child please! I like many, many people that wanted to see a change, not afraid to admit it my friend, want to see Highlands play up. Would be in the same boat in 4A or 5A.

I think for the most part, at least the people on here from Highlands, want to stay and play up to 5A.

That’s an awesome picture. Good ole days! Now, not that that is going to happen, but it was these “little” things that made Highlands different from everyone else back in the day. It’s the “little” things that my high school coach used to preach (and made you believe) that made champions. These are the things that I was told recently by a coach that are happening or going to be implemented into the rise back to the top. From the reports and videos I am seeing, looks like “everyone” got the memo to get it together. Long way to go but at least it’s something.

Always been a believer that a team is better with a multi year starting QB. Too many coaches and fans get caught up with seniority’s. With the talent that is going to surround him, that will ease the growing pains if there are any. CCH AND BG will be top dogs with Highlands lurking.

The coach I talked to expressed to me some very big changes coming way of the Birds program. There have been some meetings over the past few weeks with Admin and Staff that points towards success at a level Highlands is used to playing. Sounds like everyone involved is on the same page. Excited to see where this goes. From the looks of it all, BW and crew, Admin. and others have come together to start a new chapter in Highlands football. Oh, and it will be in 5A.

Ok well hopefully they wouldn’t bail on 5A to avoid tougher competition.

After talking with a member of the Highlands squad, they will be playing 5A. And thank goodness, it would be ashame to move down just to avoid tougher competition. That’s just not right. #MHFGA
