Wow.... those mean ole Tomcats are at it again... give me a break! I said I didn't agree with the decision. but it is what it is, a kids game. I doubt if anyone's life will change over it. Some people take this stuff WAY too seriously.

I doubt that is the case. I don't like the decision, but Ashland doesn't have to stack anything to be competitive.

I'm right here.... trying to confirm this (bad ) decision. The field drains like a charm since new drainage was installed a couple of years ago. Everybody knows its all about the gate..... :confused:

Why shouldn't the cheerleaders get a cut? If most of the money goes into the general athletic fund, It seems like they (the cheerleaders), are more involved in the football game receipts than the girls basketball team or any other team that benefits from football receipts. I have always thought it was pretty trashy for the cheerleaders to have to get out and wash cars or whatever to earn money to purchase uniforms etc. that stay with the school when they leave. I don't think any student athlete (and yes cheerleaders are some very good athletes) should have to raise money to save the school system a few bucks. Thats what gate receipts and tax dollars are for. The parents usually have to pay a bundle too. I know when my daughter cheered, we had to raise money for mats for them to practice on. Some school systems don't even provide safety equipment for them. At least ours didn't. Thats pitiful.

DO NOT SPEED ON THE AA HIGHWAY. I got a ticket going 59. Lots of deer too. Count on 2 1/2 hours from Paintsville.

FYI... you need to turn right off of the Grayson exit of I 64. Go about 1/4 mile or so and turn left onto the AA Highway. If you go left, you will be in downtown Grayson. Hope that helps.

I think thats why BC hasn't raised the playing field to get it out of the flood plain. It's hard to start a fire in a pond.

I've been out of town for a few days, so please excuse the delay in congradulating JC on the win last friday. I didn't get to see the game but I did get to listen in. I heard today that HHS has moved all of their home games to Memorial Field House. Shooter is correct.... they will be wealthy when this season is over.
