I agree.. I think Jasper will do wonders for UK once he gets some experience.

Oldrambler, don't accuse me of being a "fair weather" or "bandwagon" fan. I have cheered for UK from the time I could walk and will continue until I am dead. As far as "fair weather" or "bandwagon" fans go you have no room to talk with you're O$U buddies. How many came out after the 2002 season??

I agree. Meeks has come up big several times this year. I am not saying every "athlete" type player can't shoot ;just you can't always recruit athletes and expect great shooting. They are there for defense, Slashers, Rebounds etc... As bbcoach said earlier.

To hit open shots you need to recruit people who can SHOOT. UK doesn't have pure shooters anymore. They have athletes they have tried to mold into good shooters; some times that isn't going to work.

Crawford has been missing in action since he came to UK. One of the most Over-rated players in UK history based on Pre-UK hype and current UK stats. I agree he is looking like a bust. I have to admit I use to never miss UK games regardless who they were playing but here lately I just can't get into it. I don't think I am the only one who feels this way. It is Boring basketball!!!!! Heck I watched the bowl game last night instead of the UK game. I mean when TCU v Northern ILL is more exciting something isn't right.

Last night at the Correll Shell stations it was @ $2.06 but just a mile down the road Speedway had it at $2.29? WHY??? Speedway is the reason gas is so high! They raise the prices hoping people will follow and when they don't bring them back down. That is just PLAIN WRONG! :fire:

No not until people realize it is a basketball game not a social event. When I am sitting in the lower arena I don't care who you are; how much you donate to the K fund; or what kind of sport coat you have on!! I am there to watch the game and cheer for the Cat's. I was once told to sit down at a UK game during a huge moment in the game. Well I stood the rest of the game time just out of principal! Let the students sit there older timer if you don’t want to stand up! KILLS ME!!!

I did see the replay and still think the same. If it had not been a helmet shot the late hit would not of been called. Even Herbie (I think it was him) said that "the helmet to helmet got that late hit call" Or something like that. I saw much later hits then that in the game that didn't earn late hit calls and should have. However I will stick to my point the Helmet to Helmet earned the late hit and that one play didnt lose Michigan the game.

If the UM player had not hit Smith with his Helmet; I don't think it would have been called . It wasnt that late of a hit Smith was still in bounds although it would of still been close. But that one play didnt lose it for Michigan.
