Home cookin', terrible spots by the refs

I feel like a proud parent! Thankyou so much for the compliments.

There is just so much to say why it is so special to me. My 4yrs of high school, which revolved around football, was the greatest 4yrs of my life. Belfry has such a tradition. You hear the saying over and over "Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate. That is so true. You are a part of a family. We don't have to have class reunions, because every Friday night during the Fall is like a reunion. We still come to the games after 5,10,15,20+ years and cheer like we are all still freshman. My love for Belfry and all involved runs deep on those sidelines, in the stands, and watching from above.

Can it get any bigger than this? If Friday doesn't hurry and get here I'm going to blow a gasket! The excitement level is at a fever pitch!!! And we still have another game after this one before we make history! :dancingpa ( Needless to say I'm a very optimistic person.)

I heard the game will be live on WYMT Friday night! Anyone else heard the same?

The bon fire will be at the baseball field @ 6:30p Thursday after the team finishes practice and eating.

The Pirates had a great practice today . The energy was high and hunger was in their eyes! You can't help but to ask yourself "Could Belfry be on a collision course to making history?" Only time will tell.:ylsuper:

I know they will have something big planned. They may put signs up along SC route here, but the bon fire may wait until next week. (I have been noted to count my chickens before they hatch). Remember last year on Thanksgiving evening when we had the parade and bon fire? That was such a perfect weekend!
