Mark Starns is a very good coach and he will win anywhere that he has a little bit of talent. He was 81-30 his first four years at Henderson but a locker room incident, couple of disguntled parents, and a 18-15 last season was used to move him out. He was in the regional all five years and was beat by the eventual regional champion all five years. With a very talented team coming back those in charge saw the opportunity to bring back the home boy and give him a good start. He had no chance of staying at Henderson. there were 3 coaches driving the girls around, so they could have an option of what they wanted to do most. Almost all meals were eaten together except this one, and some of the girls complained that they were starving and did not really care to go to the beach. the other 5 asked if one of the other coaches could take them to the beach instead and they would grab something to eat there or later; the stated they really were not that hungry. It is hard to get 12 girls to agree on what to do at the same time.

The report that the 5 were made to stay at the hotel and eat pizza was not exactly as stated. Those 5 girls elected to go to Ft. Lauderdale beach and swim and sunbathe at the ocean. The other 7 elected to go eat instead.
