Basketball is very different now from 2012 to 2024. The game is played differently. If that statement doesn't make any sense to you, I'm not gonna spend time trying to explain it further. You guys say thr game has passed Cal up...aka you all agree the game has changed. Call me crazy but BBN wouldn't love the 2012 team in 2024 and they probably aren't as successful because of how differently the game is played now. The part about no KY kid was a joke. Cause of the three names you listed, none are from KY, which much of BBN thinks we have to have one to be a good team.

No they wouldn't. The game has majorly changed since 2012. They'd defend well but not be able to score and it would be boring. Plus, I don't see a player from Kentucky listed and that's a big problem.

Unfortunately I completely agree. He'll probably develop into a very solid role player in the NBA and Calipari will get blamed for not getting more out of him when he was 19 as he flourishes at 25.

Bradshaw seems like a young fawn to me and the type of guy that could explode in a 2nd year of college after learning how to truly grow in strength and conditioning.

While true that he went to a different extreme, but he kind of had to last night with injuries. No Wagner, Edwards, and then Theiro got hurt, even went to the locker room during the game at one point. And it seems apparent that Big Z can't really get minutes.

Kept waiting for a mini run by UK to go up like 8 and they just never could. You could hear it on TV that they were waiting to explode. Really wish Cal would've called a TO when Sheppard was taking out the ball and passing it to Dillingham but I think he usually takes it out in that setting because he's the best passer and then gets it back quickly.

They need to mix it in but I sure don't trust Sheppard and Dillingham to stay true to zone principles haha

I will say it before anyone else does. Cal has got to have them foul after Dillingham's miss. I've become a believer in that strategy over the years in that situation.

The tape on the defensive end is not going to treat Reed Sheppard very well. The highlight clip for Walter Clayton that they showed with 1:13 left in OT will show ya. He played really well offensively but really needs to cut down the ball watching. It's like is hunting where to take his chance to help off and get a steal, which he does really well, but you can't do it when you're guarding a shooter, especially one that is torching you.

Tough one to swallow. Real tough.

My tinfoil gambling degenerate friend would tell you that it is no coincidence that this is the first full college bball season where many viewers can gamble from their couch.

I agree 100%. Andy Reid needs to be discussed as one of the greatest coaches of all-time but he isn't. Love me some Andy Reid. He was fantastic with the Eagles and he's obviously great now too. Sure helps having Mahomes but if people are going to give Belichick tons of credit with Brady, same should stand here.

I'm very torn on who I want to win. I think Brock Purdy is a cool story but I really like Andy Reid. Kind of can't stand Mahomes the person but love Mahomes the player. Currently leaning towards wanting to see the Chiefs. Game opened last night as San Fran -2.5 and saw this morning that is already moved to San Fran -1.

Mahomes deserves a lot of credit, but Rashee Rice is extremely far from a bad receiver, he also has the best TE to every play the game, and lastly, he has arguably the best Offensive Coach in my life time.
