I think Lawrence County should be the favorite in this one. Lex Cath has used their top 2 pitchers against Harrison Co. If I was Coach Keaton, I would start Cyrus against Lex Catholic and save Michael for PRP. If Lawrence County can get a solid performance from Cyrus, they could have a chance at a state championship. Lets go Dawgs, get them bats going against the Knights.

I don't see this as a upset. Lawrence Co is playing great ball and took 2 out of 3 from Greenup over the season.

I like the current system. It shows a lot more about a team. Pitching depth is something great teams have. The best TEAM doesnt always win when its one and done. In a 3 game series, we see who the better team is in most cases.

Lawrence County won 6-3. Hilton for Bell made 2 costly errors in the bottom of the 6th. Good luck to the dawgs in game 2.

I like Lawrence Co in this matchup. I am biased though. Lawrence is really swinging the bat. Probably the best Lawrence County team I have seen.
