  1. If that is indeed true..........this will be a game. Boone runs the ball extremely well.
  2. I thought the exact same thing when I read the article.
  3. You oughta be mad at Dale. I can't believe people are blaming anyone but him.
  4. Remember I said "might", unfortunatley for all sides involved we will never know.
  5. Sorry, but I don't think teaching kids to be skirting rules is the right thing to do. The rules say he has to sit a year, and that should have been that after the ruling came down. Truth be told, w/o Mitchell they still might be sitting where they are, getting ready to play on Saturday with no questions asked.
  6. I'm not sure the KHSAA could have done much about it. They declared the kid ineligible, then a court of law slaps an injunction on the ruling. What are they supposed to do, just give up and not pursue it?
  7. If Mitchell's declared ineligible, I really don't see how Highlands can play in the state championship game. I understand it's in the rules as posted by Guru, but that doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense to me. So.......get a court injunction from now on and make sure the case isn't heard until after the playoffs start? I can understand Highlands staff standing up for the kid from the beginning, BUT if the governing body declares him ineligible, you are taking a huge, huge risk by letting him play. If I'd have lost to Highlands in the playoffs, and they later were ruled to have used an ineligible player and were allowed to move on that would be just plain wrong.
  8. I would think Mason couldn't have with them. Now the Cougars on the other hand............
