I agree with BuckNut... Coach A and the Warrior program played huge roll in turning my son into a strong, disciplined young man who is unafraid of hard work and pain along with a strong sense of pride and family.. The Warrior program also played a big role in turning my baby girl into an amazingly responsable, dedicated young lady.. And for that I will always be thankful to Coach A and the Warrior family...

I'll be rooting for Somerset and Boyle Co.

Don't think SW has made excuses about their play-off losses except for the Dunbar game... I think your team needs a new staff because they haven't won a championship in their history of like over 90 years of football..

Sorry I forgot.. There was several scouts at the game as well.. Rakes and a big lineman from BE were getting some looks and Minton has scheduled a visit to Clemson...

Bullitt East is a solid club but not as good as Southwestern made them look last night.. Boyle should double them up... BC 28 BE 14....

Don't know the family but we've had to face Rakes for a couple of years and he is a great competior who never takes a play off..

Rakes played well on both sides of the ball.. Don't have the stats yet but he ran for at least 150 yds or more and made some great plays on D...

Tuff game to comment on.. The Warriors never got of the bus.. As far as AverageJoe's comments on the staff go.. He could not be more wrong.. The coaches didn't put the ball on the ground 7 times in the first half alone, not to mention a couple of picks and the coaches didn't drop any wide open passes.. BE didn't do anything different that we had not seen.. They are a solid ball club but not in the same class as Boyle, BowlingGreen, or Highlands...

Good article.. Looks like the BE coaches have done their homework and will have their team well prepaired for the Warriors' visit.. Coach A was a coach at Trinity, not St.X as the reporter stated in the article...

The Warriors have complete respect for the Chargers.. They have knocked us out of the play-offs twice.. They are always well coached, make few mistakes, and hit hard. The players don't trash talk and have respect for their foes.. Solid program.. SW is the definite underdog in this game.. They will have to play their best game yet to upset the Chargers......

Always a close, tuff battle between these two teams.. Both teams like to run the ball and are geared to stop the run on defense.. The team that can have the most success throwing the ball should come out on top in this one.. SW's Mike Jones has been on target the last few games setting single season team records for passing yardage and TD tosses.. If the Warriors continue to throw well I think they can go to Mt. Washington and pull of the upset....

Nice to see Coach Beamer and some of his staff from VT at the game tonight.. Can't understand why the field was so wet .. Must have been a cloud burst over the field this afternoon.. Matt McWorter came up a little gimpy after his TD catch.. Hope he's ready to go next week.. Going to miss watching PC's Blake Gumm play.. He was all over the field tonight..

Wes Hampton rushed for 146 yds and 3 TD's and QB Mike Jones passed for around 90 yds and a TD..
