For those of us who get to be around Ryan on a daily basis his football abilities are secondary to the awesome young man he is.. Never brags, always polite and gives his team mates the credit for his success.. Just a pleasure to be around...

Great win for Clark Co.. I could tell early in the season that they had some good talent, they just had to get everyone on the same page..

Great game.. The Warriors rolled up nearly 600 yds. of offense in the game but the proud Rebel defense stopped SW four times inside the ten yd. line to keep the game close... Both teams played their hearts out.. Hope the coaches can get together and keep the Boyle SW rivalry going...

Petrino should be on the phone this morning with Brad Durham to offer him his scholarship back.. Looks like the Cards could use some good linemen...:sssh:

Southwestern is going to miss Hampton more on defense in this game.. In the first Boyle game he had a pick and defended several more passes very well.. With at least two more defensive starters out for the game some young kids are going to have to step up and play well...

Final... SW jumped out to a quick 21 point led in the first quarter to take control of the game...

Coach Anderson was speaking about the new 6 class system not the play off system.. The KHSAA came up with the play off changes when gas was around 3 dollars a gallon to cut travel expenses..

Final... SW turned the ball over the first three possesions and was down 10 points early before they pulled away from PC....

Mike Jones threw for 4 TD's and RB Wes Hampton passed the 1,000 yd mark for the season with over a 100 yds and a score..

Taylor Co. is better than they have been the past few years and have a hidden gem in RB Chris Thomas who is rushing for close to 150 yds. per game.. SW will need to stay focused and not take this game for granted.. If the Warriors play their game they should win by a comfortable margin...

Marion Co. showed up at the Reservation tonight ready to play.. SW made enough big plays to pull off the win... Good hard hitting ball game...

Marion Co.has the better record but its a home game for SW so I look for the Warriors to get their second district win....

Big district game. Both teams seem to be struggleing a little this year.. SW started the season playing well but have not looked good the last two games.. Boyle has been improving each week against a tuff schedule.. Both teams have had an extra week to prepare.. Should be a great game.. Who wins???

Don't know which district but the teams inculde Mercer, Southwestern, Lincoln, Pulaski Co., South Laurel and maybe one more school...

As bad as the Birds thumped us Fri. night, I think they can play a lot better.. They may have lost a little focus after the quick early lead but SW had a LOT of open recievers on the pass plays.. Coach A had a good defense called to stop the run.. Missed tackles and yards after contact killed us the most.. If DeSales plays a simular defense and makes the tackles, the Birds will have to throw it more.. Didn't see a lot of the their pass game because they didn't have to throw it much against SW but it didn't look as crisp as it has in the past.. I think the Birds can crank it up a notch or two, surprise a few people and pull off the win..:thumb:

Let us know where most of the BGP members tailgate.. I get to meet several Birds fans at the lake every summer but few posters...

GRC's Jones was giving us fits out of the RB position early in the game.. Then they switched him to wide-out and slot positions and he wasn't a threat the rest of the game.. I'm glad they, did but could not understand the move by the coaches.. Could have been an injury situation..

Should be a good game Friday night... S.Laurel always plays tough at home and the Warriors thumped them pretty good last year at SW so I think the game will be a little closer this year but SW should pick up the win....

Can't wait for this game.. Always a battle when these two teams play.. It's rained a lot here but SW's field drains well and will be in good shape for the game.. I like the Warriors in this one.. GRC will have to throw the ball a lot with some success to pull off the win..
