  1. Neither do I. See, we can agree on something.
  2. I don't think those kids are there of there own 'free will', and I don't think for a minute that the Oneida staff is trying to recruit and build a powerhouse team. I agree too that those kids always act decent on the court. Sure makes 'em hard to scout though.
  3. Then I'm more lost than ever lol. I thought it was me that you were trying to insult.
  4. The new 6'9" kid for OBI may be a factor even though he apparently is from up north and can't speak a word of English. Of course it will make it hard to trash talk him, so there are pros and cons. I think that Oneida wins this one by 12.
  5. I apologize mam. I truly didn't understand what you were talking about RE the nasty private messages etc... You must have me confused with someone else. Have a great day! BTW- it was in overtime.
  6. Montgomery is tough but did lose to JBS, Bourbon and Bath. Estill plays smart and Dixon, Berryman and Christopher are solid all around. I think that Estill will win this one by 3.
  7. I think that you need to inhale and hold 5 deep breaths, count backwards to -50 and pray for a typhon or something. Does anyone else understand what IMO is talking about? I sure don't. Last time I was this confused I was arguing with my ex-wife. :flame:
  8. Well hey Ronnie, apparently the teacher has left the room or somethin'. Can you believe that a JBS/Riverside thread has made it to 750 views (and growing)?
  9. Time may tell a lot of things..... BTW, what 'little nasty private messages' are you talking about? Are you outta your mind?
  10. From another recent thread. Should add a little spice to the Owsley/OBI game.
  11. Lots of great games in the 14th region district tournaments! I think that 6 of the 8 opening round games should be close ones. Lee and Jackson City have the best chances of making it to the regional tournament because of relatively weak first round games; the rest I wouldn't feel so sure of. I think that the other first round games are up in the air. How long has it been since there was this much parity in these Districts? 53rd @ KCC LCC vs Cordia (2nd round actually) KCC vs JBS (winner vs Jenkins) KCC split with LCC; LCC beat JBS; Cordia lost to JBS by 1 point. 54th @ Hazard PCC vs Hazard Leslie vs Buckhorn PCC lost to Leslie; Leslie lost to Hazard; Buckhorn has no district wins. 55th @ Breathitt Wolfe vs Breathitt Jackson City vs Riverside Wolfe beat Breathitt by 4; Jackson City beat Wolfe by 18; Breathitt hasn't played Jackson City or Riverside. 56th @ Lee Lee vs Owsley Estill vs Powell Lee is 8/0 in district games; Owsley has split with Powell; Estill has only lost 3 district games-all to Lee. Anything can happen in this Region- I think that the following were all upsets: PCC lost to JBS who lost to Owsley. PCC lost to Leslie who lost to Breathitt. Lee lost to KCC who lost to Jackson City. JBS lost to LCC who lost to Jenkins. JBS lost to Owsley. Leslie lost to Breathitt. Hazard lost to Wolfe. It should be FUN
  12. We were hoping that JBS would play Riverside again but a couple of them may not make it out of their district.
  13. Now you're sounding kind of defensive......but I guess that a 27 pt performance dragged him down a bit.
  14. Clark Stepp 27, Cox 21, Conley 5, Huff 1, Hall 21, Childers 13, Clint Stepp 17, Short 8, Gibson 3.
  15. Information should be your middle name....
  16. Who will start in Neeley's place? I think that Smith, Congleton, Reed and Wright start, but who else?
  17. Just wondering how many Stepp had in this one sided affair.....
  18. Rick Bolus rates Oneida's 5'10" guard Deion Jalloh in the top 50 players in the state. Do you think it could get ugly if it comes down to a one-on-one shoot out between him and Smith?
  19. What about a player who has switched schools practically every year of his high school career and who has a reputation of not being a team player? Are these things that a recruiter would look for?
  20. Lets see...back to the original discussion....JBS in a 60 pt win vs Riverside. Anyone have any stats?
  21. I didn't consider underrated when looking at the recent polls- Estill is in the top 6 on both. I kind of went by the 'official' polls. As far as the opinions posted on this forum....Jackson City is probably the most underrated. I also think that Breathitt County may be better than their record shows.
  22. MMI has 2 teams....their Gold team (recruited/non KHSAA) should be the best high school team in the state. The players on this list came from the Gold team, not the Blue team that competes in the KHSAA. http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=mmibasketball
  23. Have you saw Neeley shoot many of those since Smith returned? I'm pretty sure that I've saw Smith pulling the trigger from that same range...maybe even farther out (and usually missing). Not meaning to single Smith out....just stating what I've saw. Seriously...OBI may be the weakest team remaining on the Owls schedule. This game could be a confidence builder....
  24. I think that Neeley is the best 'on the ball' defender the Owls had....and that he was more capable of scoring without Smith than Smith without Neeley. I guess that I'm saying that IMO Neeley was the better all around player. Plus he has proven that he is capable of playing team ball- just look back at the last couple of seasons. It is too bad that he quit but from my observations I can't say as I blame him. I think that this Oneida game may be close- you never know what to expect over there. Oneida seems capable of a 40 point swing 'night to night', but I'll go with Oneida by 7 if Neeley doesn't play.
