  1. Meth is far from being replaced in some parts of the state. Still going strong.
  2. Wonder if anything specific has led them to suspect this.
  3. I saw the videos months ago right on the internets.
  4. It's scary how bad that could have been of that was a real gun.
  5. Exaggerate much? Millions of people resist arrest every year without dying. I think you have read too much cop block.
  6. Your front door is different than the rest of your house in that anyone can come knock on the door, like a mail man. "The Court has acknowledged that a doorbell or knocker is typically treated as an invitation, or license, to the public to approach the front door of the home to deliver mail, sell goods, solicit for charities, etc. This license extends to the police, who have the right to try engaging a home's occupant in a "knock and talk" for the purpose of gathering evidence without a warrant. However, they cannot bring a drug detection dog to sniff at the front door of a home without either a warrant or consent of the homeowner or resident.[102]"
  7. He didn't shoot the dog for the heck of it. He shot it because he thought it was attacking him. You can't let the dog attack anyone who knocks on your door because it's your property. Now if someone is trying to break in, that's different.
  8. I didn't take your words out of context. They can knock on your front door like anyone else, that was my point.
  9. That's why you control your dog. Part of the blame falls on the homeowner.
  10. Apparently it was a situation they couldn't handle. Either way...I'm done with this one. You all can take it from here.
  11. Just making a point. She threw it on purpose. It's obvious.
  12. The school officials are directly responsible for this happening anyway. Regardless of what has been said before, I think it was a mistake to call the police in the first place. From this point further, if I were a SRO anywhere, I'd refuse to be involved in any situation like this.
  13. Why didn't they mention that when they gave their reason for firing him?
  14. So if someone shoots at you and misses, it doesn't count because it didn't hit you...right?
  15. What are you talking about re: me getting choked? By police? If my kid acted like that I'd shake his hand after he did it. Don't get me wrong. I feel bad for the kid. She's probably got it rough. My best friend in high school lost both of his parents before he was 13. His dad was murdered. I know that's tough on kids.
  16. So we shouldn't have to follow any rules or laws on earth because only God should have authority over us? She wasn't assaulted. She was arrested with force because she resisted and assaulted a police officer. You did see the punch she threw right? Or are you saying that punch isn't an assault? Her phone has nothing to do with the officer. He asked her nicely to leave with him. He told her to leave with him, or he would make her. Then he made her. I'm not sure what else he could have done.
  17. Like any situation, even ones involving police, it depends on the totality of circumstances.
