Not all of them. I ordered mine about 20 minutes after they went on sale. From what I've read most who ordered after 4 am (1 hour after they went on sale) have been delayed. I just checked my order status and it says "preparing to ship" and "delivers 9/21".

Btw I'm less excited about this and more excited bout getting my new phone in 2 days.

The older phones will not get many of the updates. The 4 and below does not get the new maps or turn by turn directions if I'm not mistaken.

Yes I'm a nerd, and yes I just pre ordered my iPhone 5. First time I've done that since the iPhones have been in existence. Going back to bed now.

I get what you are saying now, my bad. eBay has an instant offer option for old phones and they offered $200 for my 4.

Idk but my 16gig went for $200. Check out eBay they will make you an offer and you really dont have to do anything. If you accept the offer they will give you a shipping label with postage paid and they gave me until Oct 1st (that's when they said it has to be shipped by). That way I keep my old phone until I get my new one. You can also look on Gazelle.com. They make offers too but eBay was offering more last night.

Why would you want a phone that's not as good? Why pay $100 now for something that's 2nd best. Remember if you pay $100 you are signing a contract. Which means you will keep that second best phone for probably 2 years. If you want an iPhone and are willing to pay $100 I think it would be stupid not to get the 5, which is obviously going to be a better phone. And the 4 is okay, but the 4 doesn't even have Siri. It's out of date, which is why they will give it away.

Why wouldn't you want to upgrade if you have a 4? You get bigger screen, Siri, faster, Better camera, better battery... And you can sell an iPhone 4 16gb right now on eBay for $200 which is the upgrade price.

People are getting spoiled. There isn't much they can do to improve phones these days. They made a phone that is lighter in weight, bigger in screen size, thinner, runs faster (LTE) etc..and people are disappointed. When those with the 4s see people with the iPhone 5, they will want one. That's how it works. When I got my 3G, the 3GS came out 6 months later and I wanted it. I waited and bought the iPhone 4. When the 4s came out, I wanted one. I waited, so now I'm buying the 5. When the 5G or 5S or 5 whatever comes out, I'll want one. But I'll wait for the 6 :lol:

I skipped the 4s because it wasn't all that much of a different phone than the 4. This one is supposed to be about as big of a change as when they went from the 3GS to the 4.

I've heard it will be smaller. Which STINKS!

I've been listening to Wayne Hancock a lot lately.

I was shocked to open BGP and see this. So sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I have the 4. I'm eligible for an upgrade in March, but I'm not going to. I'm going to wait for the 5.

Take my advice and wait. You don't want to be stuck with the 4s when the 5 comes out. You will be glad you waited.

Apple has released a new phone every year since 2007. The new iPhone will be out sometime in 2012.

I wanted the 4s, but I got the 4 so my contract still has a little while left on it. I will most likely go for the 5 when it comes out.
