Well I guess I should give the kid some credit..... Mahan did play well on the JV level with a suspect O-Line and came away a 5-2 record. Darrel was the player, along with Justin Castle that sealed the JV win agianst Ironton.... But I will question all this praise going into Varsity?

Well, this inside story might be coming from closer to in inside that most might think.... We're glad that Mahan is here, but give us a break Tomcats7 The kid has done ZERO to impress the coaching staff other than he backed-up Ian this year in the Mop Up jobs...I really don't think he would have started if Ian was hurt..... But McDavid did a year ago! Mahan needs to grow up this off-season before he will NEVER lead the TOMCATS down the steps........... The kid has a cannon, but that will make no difference...TRUST ME

Russell's radio crew is pitiful, and I'm not throwing punches...You guys in Flatwoods should look to hire Jason Suman....He's an old Tomcat and has a GREAT radio voice... And before the Ashland contenent gets bashed I would rather have the "homer" than what I heard tonight .......Like I said tonight's game could be the WORST I've ever heard. With the plays being behind if ever called.... I hate it but you should look Suman up next year to be you radio voice because the the crew you have now has NO CLUE....
