Some kids (today) need a swift smack upside the head (J/K for all those that will think that is abuse ) I honestly wouldn't get my underpants in a bunch if this happened to my team, but I can see the other side too. Sometimes "Cities" will have a more diverse population, but that is where it stops. I don't hear Boyle County, or Bell County complaining about the Independents....We follow the SAME rules as the other Public Schools. I just think that some people put WAY to much into Independent because we're the same like it or not :argue:

PLEASE.....Let's keep this on topic........ I'm just interested in finding out exactly how many Private schools play football. I would also like to know how many Privates participate in KHSAA sports too. My last count was 12 but westsider has 15 playing Football.. Anybody else have a count?

I am Informed and that comment is off the hook :lol: INDEPENDENTS are nothing more than independent of their County School District. Man If somebody wants to agrue that a Public has an advantage over a Public were ALL screwed up :lol:

For every none district student we except we MUST also except their State CATS test scores. The point behind my post is that "WE" will not keep kids that do produce academically. Plus the reciprocal agreement only applies to surrounding school districts in state :sleep: Any others WILL pay PERIOD. Now to answer your "sounds like a PRIVATE school" comment. "WE" do not offer housing or finicial aid. In other words you private guys have the best of both worlds...Can offer "equal" aid and have ZERO testing accountability.

Millersburg Military? New Port Central Cath Those are the 12 schools playing football I just got from the KHSAA web site. But I believe that there are way more than 16 schools competeing in KHSAA sports.

Okay, I can see that that is a TABOO thread but it should be discussed here in the football forum. I don't want to debate private vs public. I just want to know how many private schools in Kentucky play football.

No tuition..Yes, but we don't can't bus them. They have to get to school and make the grade or they get da BOOT!! If you don't believe there are several open enrollment agreement students that have come to Ashland that are back in their home districts. As for the Ramey Home....I have to agree with you there Ricky....What is stopping them from fielding their own team? :sssh:

I wish that PEOPLE would get this!!!!!! An Independent School District means ZERO. They are usually City Schools "PUBLIC" that are independent of the COUNTY that they are in...GOT IT????? Get INFORMED Privates
