  1. If there is a bonafide change of address what clearing does one have to go through?
  2. I have been in Florida for the past week. I ran the Disney marathon with my wife and took my family to Disney World.
  3. I didn't say it was a done deal. I did say that I have confirmed that he is coming from people both connected to the Highlands program and the SK program. However, Jordan is still a kid and he could change his mind at any point. If I was predicting I would say he is leaving SK.
  4. I am not all that fond of seeing athletes transfer after the begin high school (before high school it is a different beast imo). However, I have heard this rumor that Nevels is coming and have had it confirmed by both Highlands and SK people. From what I understand Nevels is a good kid as well as a great athlete. He will be a welcome addition to the program.
  5. Shooter: I remember the rule their was a big man (basketball) named Don Turney (sp.) who I believe was one of the first impacted by the rule. However, it seems like their was a kid from Ft. Thomas who was either on the swimming or diving team for St. X, but I couldn't swear to it.
  6. LSURock, I know the identities of very few people who post on this site, but I would venture to say that it is still more than you and I think you would be very surprised at how many successful coaches participate.
  7. Really? What is the intention of those ads running on WHAS?
  8. I think he is getting it from the KHSAA site where the number of boys is doubled to determine classification.
  9. I guess you don't go along with the old saying that Jim's and Joe's matter more than X's and O's. Overall interesting post by TM.
  10. Very nice Mr. Network. One stipulation you might consider is how much historically they have contributed and been a part of this board.
  11. A. No coment. B. No coment. C. No coment. Isn't that what they say in the biz. Actually I will comment on the job thing. Just switched jobs and am far busier. Good for me (I guess), bad for BGP.
  12. I think the pay is $75 per day. Then I get half of it for going in yesterday and letting them cut my hair and do my costume. Don't know of anymore in the works, but in the late 80's early 1990's there were lots. If you are really interested FKW. E-mail me or PM and I will give you a phone number to call. I thought I heard them say they were still looking, but I don't know exactly what for because they had tons of people show up in Cincy, Lex., and Louisiville and they only selected 500.
  13. Not leatherneck. How about the pride of Mason County Phillip Hay?
  14. BF, my wife and co-workers loved it.
  15. I will tell you it is not me. There are lots of pictures of me floating around and lots of people know what I look like.
  16. I have a good idea who that guy on the right is, but I don't know what name he posts under.
  17. Back when I was in college I tried to get into several movies including Rain Man, Tango & Cash, An Innocent Man (movie with Tom Selleck), and Fresh Horses (Andrew McCarthy and Molly Ringwald). I didn't get any of them. I had friends who were in some as well as others that were filmed in Cincy such as Lost in Yonkers, Milk Money, Eight Men Out, and Little Man Tate. I had a friend who is a consultant on this movie and he told me that if I wanted to do it he could get me in, so that's how it happened. Hopefull it will be fun.
  18. Actually the title is a little misleading. More accurate would be Hollywood comes to Oldbird. Got the call this week that I was selected to be an extra in the movie Seabiscuit, which they are filming at Keenland in November with Toby McGuire. Hopefully it will be alot of fun, because the days are long (12 hours), it doesn't pay much, and I have to take vacation from work just to do it. Tonight I got my costumer and they cut my hair (at least what hair I have). Is anyone eles doing this? Has anyone ever been an extra before? What is it like? Is it worth it? I don't care if I make the movie. I am only looking to have a fun experience.
  19. I think Mongomery Co. has a great facility for football. The Pit has got great atmosphere, but it is actually difficult to get a good place to view the game. Seating is in a horseshoe and there is quite a bit, but many of the seats are reserved for season ticket holder, so the visitors are left to scamper for the remaining seats with the non-season ticket holding purple nation. Plus I just think the way it is built there are a lot of bad seats.
