  1. Appreciate it. Hard to believe Curtis was second in the NFC in receptions and yards last year with a banged-up McNabb. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.

  3. That's why I said Villa Fontana IS a shady area, not IN a shady area. Problems always seem to arise the nights this club is open.
  4. Good article by Crawford. I got a buddy who is pretty good friends with Trent and I have seen him out a few times, seems like a good guy. Sounds like a situation any young male could have been in, fortunately it sounds like he'll be alright. I also see Krag instituted a no club/bar rule for all players. Thought he might, but it will be interesting to see if it pans out. Like I said, I see at least 3-4 guys out on Bardstown Rd. every time I'm there and they always seem to be enjoying themselves.

  6. Villa Fontana is a shady area to say the least. I see at least 3-4 players out at the bars every time I go out. Wouldn't be surprised to see Krag institute a no Club Rule here in the near future. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea, you get some wannabe come up that's been boozin all night runnin their mouth to a player and something bad is bound to happen...
  7. Just got back from a great trip to Cincy. Bachelor party for one of my buddies. Put $300 worth of drinks on my card and left it at the Beer Sellar. Gonna have to have it mailed to me. All in all a great night...
  8. Alstott is retired, so that probably doesn't work. Love the way Lorenzo Neal plays at FB, he'd be a huge FA get here late in the game. I'll add some that haven't been said yet. OG- Alan Faneca OT- Walter Jones MLB- Patrick Willis, Brian Urlacher OLB- Demarcus Ware, Lance Briggs FS- Bob Sanders SS- Troy Polamalu
  9. You can't let blogger sites like that upset you, if you read all of them I guarantee you'll find content on UK much worse than that. The dude that wrote it is probably a 20 year old UT student with nothing better to do. No reason to let it make you mad.
  10. You new guys would probably be better off trying to join the American Conference first. It's more of a fun, beginners league. The National Conference, on the other hand, is loaded with some of the best FF players out there and is extremely tough. Choose wisely... :walk:
  11. Your way off on this one. The Cubs are extremely deep in the outfield, and will probably improve defensively out in LF with anyone they put out there. They'll miss his bat, but have more than enough power to pick up his slack. Like I said, it hurts, but it could be worse. Funny you mention the NL Central being extremely weak, yet they have more teams over .500 than any other division in baseball.
  12. It hurts, but it could be worse. I think Lou will bump Theriot into the lead-off position and put DeRosa in the two spot. Whoever we move to LF will probably be an upgrade defensively. It's still disappointing though, Fonso was really starting to hit the ball well and looked close to 100% on the base paths as well.
  13. I guess if I have to remind you, I'm the defending champion...
  14. Always has been. I believe 3 of the 5 champions have come from the North. Time for the other guys to start pulling their weight.
  15. Who should get the blame then? He's the "decider", remember?
  16. That's what happens when the president before you puts you a little over $9 trillion in the hole...
  17. Legends are back to defend the title. Hoping to get some decent competition this year in the North... :walk:
  18. Edmonds finally shows some life, and what a time to do it. Cubbies with the best record in baseball. I know its early, but its hard to not get excited about this team's chances.
  19. I myself have downed 45 wings at Hooter's on all you can eat night, but that's nothing compared to a good friend of mine. He holds the record at a Lexington Hooter's for eating 201 hot wings in one sitting. He also went to Cici's pizza buffet and ate 4 whole pizzas, 15 salads and countless breadsticks. He went to a steakhouse one time and participated in a contest where you had to eat a 4 lb. steak, one side and a salad in less than one hour to get it free. He did all that, had another side dish, a few rolls and finished it all in 15 minutes His name is Christian "Muscox" McCarthy. He is a student at UK and has won several eating contests throughout the US. He was on CBS this past weekend as the #1 seed in the college eating championships. You can google him and find out more, but I have known the guy forever and he is a machine. Also probably the nicest kid you will ever meet.
