Ohio 708 teams and 336 playoff teams in 7 divisions (47.5%). 12 teams per regions, top four seeds have bye weeks. Ohio doesn't re-bracket until State Semi-Finals. Kentucky could do 12 teams per West/East. That would be 65.7% of the teams in playoffs vs the current 87.6% now. That could help the quality of opponents in some classes. A new ranking system that doesn't penalize out of state play would allow a true ranking of Regional West/East team and not re-seed at Regional Finals. It's 2025, time to use technology to your advance and adapt to a better system to prepare teams for later opponents vs the current first round blow out model.

This is a byproduct of allowing 192 of 219 eligible teams into the playoffs. Change the playoff formula to something like Ohio and reduce the amount of rounds to 4 or teams per class to 24.
