  1. Grant Webb 3 TD rush. Pendleton to Ober pass conversion. Simon Kenton 8-7, 1:52 1Q
  2. Timeout SK, 1:59 1Q. 4th and goal on Cooper 3.
  3. O’Hara to Ryker Campbell, 44 yard touchdown pass. Tibbs PAT Good. Cooper 7-0, 8:54 1Q
  4. Squibb kick downed at Cooper 32.
  5. Cooper wins the toss and will receive.
  6. 7 officials on this Thursday night.
  7. With 489 more teams than Kentucky.
  8. Ohio 708 teams and 336 playoff teams in 7 divisions (47.5%). 12 teams per regions, top four seeds have bye weeks. Ohio doesn't re-bracket until State Semi-Finals. Kentucky could do 12 teams per West/East. That would be 65.7% of the teams in playoffs vs the current 87.6% now. That could help the quality of opponents in some classes. A new ranking system that doesn't penalize out of state play would allow a true ranking of Regional West/East team and not re-seed at Regional Finals. It's 2025, time to use technology to your advance and adapt to a better system to prepare teams for later opponents vs the current first round blow out model.
  9. This is a byproduct of allowing 192 of 219 eligible teams into the playoffs. Change the playoff formula to something like Ohio and reduce the amount of rounds to 4 or teams per class to 24.
  10. New Cath playing Thursday, 7 PM at Cov Cath.
  11. I wonder where New Cath will host the first round game. Cov Cath and Dixie Heights both host first round matchups. Notably, Holmes and Scott are open.
  12. Lloyd should be able to keep it. Lloyd and Bell County both play 5A opponents this week. Lloyd will handle Boone County and Bell County has their work cut out for them. Murray is playing down against 2A Caldwell County, and a win will count as an equal class game. This is Murray's second "Playing Down" opponent, not penalizing them. I'll run another simulation on Monday.
  13. Cameron O'Hara (2022-25) tied Tim Couch (Leslie County 1992-95) and Ricky Bowling (South Laurel 2005-08) for Touchdown Passes in a Career at 133. O'Hara also finish 10/10 last night and brought his career passing yards to 10,380. This sets a new Northern Kentucky record, passing Tanner Morgan (Hazard/Ryle 2013-16). Keagan Maher's three touchdowns brings him to 19 rushing touchdowns on the year.
  14. Cooper turnover on downs. 8:35 4Q. Boone start own 45
  15. Cooper start own 33 after punt. JV in.
  16. Brennon Long 1 yard rush. Tibbs PAT good Cooper 49-0, 5:58 3Q
  17. Timeout Cooper. 10:45 3Q. Varsity started first drive. Shocked by that call.
  18. Cooper start on 35 after procedure.
