Salad and sauteed mushrooms.

There is no extending Bauer for anyone. He has said he only will sign 1 year contracts to highest bidder for his career. So the Reds can still get him, but it will be for that 1 year 20-30 million range depending on how he does next season
I find it very hard to believe that his agent will let him be that stupid.

Read that there would manager suspensions the likes that we have never seen...
Reds-Pirates warnings? Marty Brennaman says yes, Joe Torre says no

Look at the stands at GABP down each foul line. Then tell me how you would put up netting down each line. It has its challenges because of the angles of the seating area
I could be wrong, but it seems like the last time I was there for a game last month that I noticed that they already had cable in place to hang the net from foul line to foul line.

Best FB concession food I've had was at Raceland and at Johnson Central.
Raceland by far has the best food IMO. You have to get one of their sausage dogs with grilled peppers and onions anytime you go there. @Ram might even buy if you can catch him at a game.

How so? What happened?
I just think he begs out of the lineup too often due to hurting a little bit. He was originally in the starting lineup last night, but was removed because of where he was hit by a pitch in the arm the previous day. Suck it buttercup.

Score? Is it over?
Lost 3-2. I'm beginning to think Senzel is a bit of a wimp.
-
How does J.R. House still have a job?
-
Won't be a lot of people sitting back and watching how it's done in GABP. Only projected 11K tonight. Schools back.
There will be hundreds of thousands watching on Fox Sports Ohio and following on BGP.
-
Time for somebody to take the bull by the horns, and get this team on an extended win streak, and I'm just the man for the job. So everyone just sit back, and watch how it's done.

Does anybody know if Reed is hurt?
Has to be.

Nope, I'm up here for the rest of the season. I'm out of minor league options. You're stuck with me. Otherwise, if you all expose me to waivers, I'm gone for good.
:laugh: How cute. You think someone would make a waiver claim.:no::lol2:

They should be a wild card team at worst in 2020. I'm not sure Bell is the answer as manager, but you never know when someone is going to fall in your lap. The Cubs were content with Renteria managing their young talent until Maddon came available. Would someone like Joe Girardi, Tony Pena, or Sandy Alomar Jr. be able to take them to the next level with their young talent?
I'm still in the evaluating phase for Bell. There are parts of his managing style that I love, such as his willingness to fight for his players. I think the players love that and in return they will fight and play hard for him. I didn't like how he has manged the pitching staff at the beginning of the year, but I think he has improved in that area as the season has gone along. I don't like the fact that he hasn't given Winker a chance at all to show what he can do against LF pitching.

I don't know which is worse, the howlers or Thom.
Definitely the howlers. The howlers are less mature than kindergartners on the 1st day of school.

Are we ready to annoint Aquino the starting RF 2020. He's obviously going to fall off some in the next month and a half. What if he drastically falls off?
I already have. I haven't see anyone in the organization with more raw talent than he has.

I really hope the Reds resign Iglesias and they have a middle infield of Iglesias and Galvis next year. I think this may be one of the most interesting off seasons in recent years. What are the plans for Winker and VanMeter going forward? I believe CF and RF are set for the next several years with Senzel and Aquino. Do they let Igesias walk and play Galvis at SS, and give the 2nd base job to VanMeter? Do they see what the market is for Winker? The top 3 of the rotation is set with Castillo, Gray and Bauer. Do they try to dip into the free agent market and sign another pitcher since DeSclafani and Mahle are too inconsistent? How do they improve the bullpen? I think this team is so close, but still lots of questions for next year.

I'm sure he's been laughing at the last 3-4 years of Reds misery.

Don't let him fool you. He liked Dusty.
:no::no::no::no::no::no:

Wait...so you actually liked Dusty Baker?!? My world has been turned upside down.
No I mean I'm never serious when it comes to other posters.
-
Time to start talking about the 2020 Reds because the 2019 Reds are finished.
-
Yeah, well stop blaming the Reds being the Reds on @nkypete :lol2:
I've run out of people to blame. Most of the old guard Reds thread posters are gone. I gotta blame someone. :lol2::lol2:
He knows it's all in fun. At least he should. I'm never serious on BGP. Everyone has to know that by now.
